I have 2-step verification enabled on my Amazon account so that when I go to log in, it also asks for a PIN code that is sent as a text message to my phone. Nice and secure. Except when I downloaded the Kindle app for my new Windows tablet, it doesn’t know how to work with the 2-step verification and won’t let me log in. Dumb. How can I log in so I can read my Kindle books on my Windows tablet??
I don’t own a Kindle, but I read Kindle books in the Kindle app on my iPad. Works great as an ebook reader, but I can’t figure out how to turn off “popular highlights”. I saw that you explained how to disable popular highlights in the Mac Kindle app, can you show me how to do that on my iPad too?
When work is slow, I’ll use the Kindle app on my iMac to read the book I have on my Kindle. Works well, but the Mac version of the Kindle app shows me “popular highlights”, which I really hate. Is there a way to turn that off?
I’ve been poking around on my new Kindle Fire HD and bumped into a feature called “Blue Shade” that makes everything brown. What the heck does it do and why would I ever enable it?
I got a new Kindle and the type’s so small on the book I’m reading! Is there some way to make the type larger so it’s easier to read?
Got a new Amazon Kindle for Christmas and I love it. I’m supposed to be able to plug it into my Mac and access the files — and more importantly copy some of my music and photos onto the device. But I plug in my Amazon Kindle Fire and the Mac system sees nothing. No device, not even an error message. Help!
