I’m just getting into the amazing war simulation game Call of Duty 4 and want to know if there are any cool tips or tricks you can share so I can learn how to gain levels or level up quickly in the game?
Call of Duty 4 is a fast paced, explosive shell-casing riddled shooter is fun to play on single player, but for those who have conquered the computer’s intelligence Call of Duty 4 has a multiplayer mode to pit you against fellow professionals of war.
Especially for those players at lower ranks, it can be difficult at times to compete against others that have far more attachments and perks available. Your rank and the locked items are both governed by your XP. So the question is are there any ways to move the process along quicker? There are three sources you can tap to reap your maximum XP potential.
1. Kills and Assists – The easiest and most obvious way to bring in points and unlock features is to just play the game. Every time you kill an opponent you get a large amount of XP. Helping your teammates by injuring an opposing player also gets you XP.
2. Challenges – You are able to participate in certain challenges as you move up in rank. These are mainly involving how many kills you can get with certain weapons. This means that you will want to be constantly rotating through all of your weapons to make sure you are slowly but surely completing these challenges.
The sniper rifles are usually worth much more XP for the same amount of kills as other weapons; even though they are a bit harder to complete, if you are looking for a quick boost in points consider finishing the sniper challenges first.
3. Game Modes – The scoring system in Call of Duty 4 changes depending on the type of match you are playing. For example, ‘Search and Destroy’ is hands down the most fruitful of the modes, yielding an impressive 50XP per kill. However, being limited to one mode can become tedious, so play around with all of the different matches and see if there are any you are really good at.
One more thing to keep in mind, the matches that hold more players (‘Groundwar’ etc.) are also good places to stick around. The more players on the field the more kills for you, right?
