I have a Motorola RAZR (V3c) with U.S.Cellular. How do I set up the alarm to ring daily without haveing to set it each day?
I’m not sure about the U. S. Cellular version of the Motorola RAZR V3c, since each cellular carrier actual tweaks and modifies the Motorola operating system, sometimes just a little bit (Cingular) and sometimes quite a lot (Verizon).
So I can tell you how to set a daily alarm on a Verizon Motorola RAZR V3c instead, and hopefully it’ll apply to your situation and your carrier phone!
On your phone, choose MENU then move to Settings and Tools.
In the Tools area of your RAZR, choose Alarm Clock then pick one of the alarms that’s not being used yet (it’ll say “Alarm 1” or “Alarm 2” or similar).
By default the alarm is set for the next 30 minute mark from the current time (that is, if it’s 4:21pm, then the default alarm will be set to 4:30pm instead). To change the time, move down to the time shown, then select the Set option where you can tweak the value.
Same idea for the alarm frequency: move down to Once and choose Set and you’ll be able to specify the frequency you desire from the choices:
- Once
- Daily
- Mon – Fri
- Weekends
Pick the one you want, click OK, and you should have a daily alarm set on your Motorola RAZR V3c!
Hope that helps you out. If the U. S. Cellular version of the RAZR is dramatically different, do let us know and perhaps someone else can post exactly how to accomplish this here.
FYI…… On Verizon’s Razr it is Menu -> Settings and Tools -> Tools -> Alarm Clock -> Alarm 1, 2, or 3 -> Once —– Then you can change it to once, daily, Mon – Fri or Weekends —– Default is once
I have the same software version of the RAZR V3C and there is no option for frequency of the alarm. PLEASE HELP.
I purchased 4 Razr V3s from Cingular. My software version (Settings ->Phone Status->Other Information->S/W Version) is R374_G_0E.41.C3R_B
When I go to set an alarm, the only options I can edit are: Name, time, alert and volume. Frequency is NOT an option! This is an enormous pain in the arse – for every member of my family.
Is there any way to modify the software?
