It may seem like a trivial thing if you don’t park your car in a garage, but it can be tricky to ensure that you pull your vehicle in the same amount each time you park. Get too close to the far wall and you could potentially crush things on your garage wall, and leave the vehicle too far out of the space and the garage door could close on the back of your car, damaging it in the process.
Sure you can use a tennis ball on a string, but there’s a far more interesting solution from Striker, an electronic device with an ultrasonic range finder that makes it child’s play to ensure that you — and your significant other, and teen drivers — always park your car in exactly the right place in the garage.
To demonstrate, I head into my own garage to show how to install it and how easy it is to use:
Nifty, eh? Now about cleaning up my garage…
