I find it very distracting that every time the cursor goes over the search icon on the Taskbar (Windows 11) that a menu of recent searches pops up. Can I disable that feature?
I’ve become bored having the TaskBar along the bottom of my PC screen. It’s been that way for decades now! Can I move my TaskBar to the top of my screen??
I’d like to change things up and am wondering if I can move the Windows 10 TaskBar from the bottom of my screen to the top. Doable? And does everything work correctly in this new orientation?
The battery icon on my Taskbar has vanished! I don’t know how to tell how much charge I have left now on my Win10 system. How can I bring the battery [power] icon back?
I’m a big hockey fan and visit the NHL site multiple times a day. Is there a way to bookmark the page so that it’s an actual button on my Win8 Desktop Taskbar?
I was looking at my taskbar in Windows 8 today and realize that there are a number of system icons on the right side that are just taking up space since they’re not giving me useful or important information. My PC’s plugged into the office network, for example, so the “network status” notification icon is pointless: it’s always the very same state, ON. How do I clean up my notifications area of the Win8 taskbar?
