I have a ton of friends on Facebook, and it’s generally pretty cool, but there are two or three people who keep inviting me to their MLM marketing events and I not only don’t want to go, I don’t want to see their invitations any more, nor any other communications from them. I can’t “hide” them as I do with status updates, so what’s my option?

My brother sent me some really cool wireless bluetooth speakers for my computer and I can’t figure out how to make them work. Is there some secret to getting a MacBook to use a bluetooth speaker system?
I’m freaking out: I just launched iTunes on my Mac and it popped up a window saying “This copy of iTunes will expire in 77 hours”. WTH? How can my copy of iTunes expire? I’m running Mac OS X 10.6.2, if that makes a difference…
If you follow my Twitter stream (I’m @DaveTaylor on Twitter) you already know that I’m a bit of a fanatic about the FIFA World Cup and this year it’s the first time I can actually bring the World Cup with me thanks to my Apple iPhone. It’s every four years and the iPhone was introduced in 2007, so I think I had a Motorola RAZR during the last Cup (e.g., a phone that was dead useless in terms of helping me enjoy the matches).
The World Cup is the single most popular sporting event in the world, but oddly is unpopular here in the United States. That’s the subject of a different article, however. Suffice to say, I find it odd that only one or two of my friends even watch matches, let alone pay attention to the entire Cup.
Fortunately, there’s lots of commercial interest in the World Cup with useful apps from both ESPN [iTunes link] and Fox Soccer Channel [iTunes link]. What I really wanted was to watch the matches live on my iPhone — now my iPhone 4 — and that’s where MobiTV comes in…
Now that I have a new iPhone 4 – thanks to standing in line for four hours – I am eager to try some of the new features and am a bit baffled by how to get to FaceTime, the video conferencing system on the phone. Do you have an iPhone 4? Can you show me how to do it?
Based on your enthusiasm for Foursquare, I have been getting more into it and am connecting with a variety of different people in my community. Generally it’s good fun and since I only check in when I am in a public setting, I have no worries about privacy with people I don’t know. Except there’s this one guy who uses his checkins to advertise his workshops incessantly and it’s annoying to get those alerts. I want to unfriend him. But how can I do that in Foursquare?
This may seem obvious, but I’m used to “Update Windows” as an option in my Start menu and it’s not there any more in Windows 7. How do I update my Windows 7 installation to ensure it stays up-to-date on patches, etc?
Now that I have a humble fan page on Facebook, I’d like to have a simple button on add to my blog so people can click and become fans. Surely there’s some way to do that? If so, I sure can’t find it on Facebook!
I have my Windows Live account set up but keep getting an error message that I need to verify my address. Since my address is part of the Windows Live network (hotmail) I’m a bit confused: how do I verify my addr?
