I have a Nextar MA809 MP3 and Video player and want to know how to download music onto it, add my favorite movies, copy DVDs, etc. How do I find out?

How do I have different music on different iPods?
Dave, I have two iPods and I want to give one to my almost 9 yo son, but some of MY songs are inappropriate. I have a folder specifically for him on my iPod, but how do i sync ONLY that folder to the iPod that I want to give him?

What are Google Subscribed Links?
Did you ever notice how when you do certain types of searches on Google that the results include cool and useful things above and beyond just pages that match? The one I use a lot is math equations. Try it by searching for “(300*0.75)/2” or similar. Neat, eh?
Turns out that not only does Google have quite a few of those tricks up its proverbial sleeve (try searching for a FedEx tracking number or movie title) but it turns out that those customized search results are part of a program Google calls “Subscribed Links”…

How do I stop an application automatically starting up in Mac OS X?
Hi, when I switch our Mac on it automatically starts Pages up. This is really annoying as it is hardly ever Pages we want to be in. I have looked on various menus to try and stop this happening but I am still none the wiser how to stop it and still don’t know why it started doing it. Please help.

Can I use my iPad as a second display for my MacBook Pro?
I have an iPad and a MacBook Pro and it struck me that it should be possible for me to use the iPad as a second display. Can I do that? If so, what’s the best solution that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg?

iTunes can’t find / share Aperture photo library?
This is just weird. I’ve been using Aperture 3 on my iMac for quite a while and it’s been going great, I love this program! Problem is, I just got an iPad and want to drop some photo projects onto it from Aperture on my iMac and when I click on “Sync Photos from Aperture” I get an error about the library not being visible and previews needing to be shared? But I can’t figure out what needs to be tweaked for things to work!

Get traffic stats for a specific page in Google Analytics?
I’ve been using Google Analytics for a while and a client just asked me about the traffic on a specific page. I logged into the Analytics site and dug around everywhere, but can’t see anywhere I can actually just type in a URL and find the stats for that specific page. Is it possible, or is that just not how Google Analytics works?

A friend of mine was pretty psyched about an update to a game we both play on the iPad, a game that started out with some major bugs but has apparently fixed them in a subsequent release. When I start the game, however, it doesn’t say “there’s an update” as I would expect. How do I update my iPad apps?

How do I enable caps lock on my Apple iPad?
Surely there must be a way to have caps lock work on my iPad? It’s crazy, every time I type in an acronym or any sort of capitalized content, I have to tap the shift key before each and every letter. Help!

How do I deauthorize iTunes on my old Mac computer?
I’m finally selling my old PowerBook in favor of a new MacBook and while I’m excited, I am also worried that I get rid of every trace of myself on the system. Most importantly, I’ve heard that I need to unauthorize [ed: deauthorize, actually] iTunes on my system. How do I do that?
