I’ve been experimenting with different photo management applications on my new iMac system and am impressed with Aperture. Except for one little glitch: sometimes when I plug in my camera it automatically shows up in Apple’s Aperture, and other times it doesn’t. When it isn’t showing up, how can I find my DSLR digital camera in Aperture?
I write for other sites and a friend told me that I should use article spinning software so that I can have a bunch of versions to distribute, rather than write on a one-by-one basis. Sounds interesting, but what is it?

I’m about to throw my Apple iPhone out the window, Dave, so help me out! I bought an audio book on CD-ROM from the local used bookstore, ripped all the tracks in iTunes, then set the files to “audiobook” format. Sync’d on the iPhone, they show up as audio books, but when I go to play it, the tracks are in shuffle mode, and there’s no way to prevent it! How do I fix it??
Now that my son is using our Amazon Kindle, I would like to have some control over what they check out in the online bookstore and, more importantly, would like to turn off their Internet access from the device, but as far as I can tell, there’s no control at all. Is that true? And if so, what the heck is Amazon thinking?
