How do I blur my house on Google Maps Street View?

I was poking around on Google Maps looking at satellite views of my neighborhood and when I switched to street view, was upset that the photo they have of my home includes my children playing in the front yard. That’s not right, I don’t want the world to be able to see that. I know that important government buildings and installations have gotten their street view images blurred in the database. Can I do that too, can I get Google to blur or otherwise obscure my house in the Google Maps database?

Can I force a Windows 7 OS system update?

Every so often Windows 7 pops up a window and tells me that there are updates. That’s nice, but how can I force my laptop to check for Win7 updates when I want them to be downloaded, not when it randomly checks for updates on its own?

Best place to buy a cheap MacBook laptop?

Hi Dave. I am looking for two gently used MacBook laptops for my teen daughters. Personal computers would greatly facilitate their studies as they enter their senior year in High School and beyond.

File too big error copying to USB flash drive on my Mac?

I’m baffled. I have a 16GB Kingston USB flash drive that I use on my Mac system and I’m trying to copy a 5GB file onto it. It’s empty. But I keep getting the error “can’t be copied because it’s too large”. What’s wrong and how do I fix it?

Fix Google Drive (Gdrive) no longer supported (out of date)?

I’m a big Google fan and have been using Google Drive for quite a while as a cloud storage device. It’s a breeze, it just shows up as another device in Windows 7. But when I started up my computer this morning it reported “This version of Google Drive is no longer supported. Please install the latest version.” And has no links to get the update. WTH? How do I update Gdrive on my Win7 PC?

Stealth image capture photo from webcam on my Mac?

Someone sneaks into my cubicle while I’m at lunch and takes candy out of my desk. Petty, but stupid too. I want to set up something so that my webcam on my iMac takes photos every few seconds while I’m away from my desk so I can catch the culprit! How can I do that in a stealthy manner while the computer is otherwise asleep?
