My daughter gave me an Amazon Kindle Fire, which is lovely, but I’ve now read all the books she downloaded. How do I browse the Kindle store and buy a new one? And once I do, how do I download it onto my Kindle device?
I have some PDF documents from school I’d like to be able to read on my Amazon Kindle. Is that possible? If so, how do I most easily accomplish this? I don’t eve know how to get the PDF onto the device!

When work is slow, I’ll use the Kindle app on my iMac to read the book I have on my Kindle. Works well, but the Mac version of the Kindle app shows me “popular highlights”, which I really hate. Is there a way to turn that off?

When I go to buy ebooks on Amazon.com I notice that the device names shown are randomly chosen by Amazon, not the names I’d like for my Paperwhite, iPad and PC. Can I change these device names and specify which is my default reader?
