Mac OS X 10.3 Panther is coming! And so’s my new book!

October 8, 2003 / Dave Taylor / Writing and Publishing / No Comments

Sun about to release “Mad Hatter”

August 24, 2003 / Dave Taylor / Linux Help / No Comments

The Mad Hatter project at Sun should prove to be a real boon to Solaris users worldwide, particularly those who hate the transition from Windows or Macs to the more bare-bones CDE environment. New edition of “Creating Cool Web Pages” coming

August 23, 2003 / Dave Taylor / Writing and Publishing / No Comments

For those of you who have read my book Creating Cool HTML 4.01 Web Pages, or any of its five previous editions, I’m starting to sketch out the contents of the next major revision of this title and would be delighted for any reader feedback. Specifically: what did you like the best? What did you think was the most confusing? What topics did you feel were covered insufficiently? Did you feel like you had to get another HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Graphics book to finish your site?

Changing Link Colors on an HTML page

August 21, 2003 / Dave Taylor / HTML & Web Page Design / 3 Comments

A reader writes:

“I was hoping you could tell me where I can find info to solve a problem I’m having with one of the pages. I want my hyperlinks to stay the same colour as the rest of the text and not change at all, and i’d like to avoid the underlining too.”
