Dave Taylor here and I'm looking at two different smartphone cases from a company called FYY

Now, let's start with the least fun and that is this. This is their wallet case

Pretty straightforward as you can see. It's a typical wallet. Has two pockets for cards, one of which has the little transparent view there

And then behind you have a little sneaky pocket you can put money in

But let's go ahead and put my iPhone XS into it and see how it actually works as a case

First off, it's very easy to put your phone in and the phone case, the actual protective rubber part

does not go much at all above the screen. But that's okay because you obviously have this

And they've done something I really like and a lot of wallet case companies don't do this

They have a magnetic catch so you know that it's going to stay closed

And so now you obviously have a ridiculous amount of protection. So that's really nice

It is TPU, sorry, PU leather and that's possibly a fake vegan friendly leather, possibly not

There are actually apparently variations on that theme. So if that's really important to you, you'll want to check that out

But I will tell you it has a nice feel to it and there is actually some padding underneath

So it definitely feels and looks like a proper leather. On the back you can see that not only do you have the perfect cutout for your camera

but you also get to see your Apple logo, which you frankly spend a lot of money for

So that's good. And there's the handy wrist strap, not really my sort of thing

And the good news is you don't have to attach it if you don't want to. But if you do, this is actually a nice thing for people that like that

And again, you open the magnetic catch and it's super easy and then you're good to go

And you should be able to use this, let's see, depending on what angle you want it at

Sometimes with these you can actually use them as stands. There we go. So I can use that as a stand

So if I'm watching a movie or something on an airplane, that works out nicely

So there's a lot to like about this. It's a really basic rudimentary case

but you're going to really like the price. We'll get back to that in the end because I want to actually go back

and I want to look at the other case, which quite frankly is way more fun

So phone came out of this case successfully, that's a good sign

And then we have this. This is their super car case. I got to say this is super fun. It comes in black and red and this silver

I think red might actually be my favorite color of these three, but this one's pretty rocking too

And you look at it and you're like, what? And you put your phone in and turns out it's actually a nice protective phone

It has just barely, it's higher than the screen protector on my iPhone XS

So that's good. There's just a tiny bit of bezel there. And otherwise there's a lot of protection here

There's a lot of, it's sort of a rubber insert and a plastic out piece

And then of course with your sports car, with your super car, the trunk opens up and that gives you a stand

So this is just crazy fun. I mean, who wouldn't want a phone case that looks like that

I mean, this is maybe this is sort of a classic Chinese design

but this is also just good fun. And, you know, in terms of it being a functional case

it is perfectly functional. All the cutouts are good. You can see here on the closeup of the bottom, everything's pretty deep

but you can definitely get your cable in there because it's a pretty wide opening

And I just like it. I just think that, you know, you put it face down and you've got like a little race car on the table
