New edition of “Creating Cool Web Pages” coming

August 23, 2003 / Dave Taylor / Writing and Publishing / No Comments

For those of you who have read my book Creating Cool HTML 4.01 Web Pages, or any of its five previous editions, I’m starting to sketch out the contents of the next major revision of this title and would be delighted for any reader feedback. Specifically: what did you like the best? What did you think was the most confusing? What topics did you feel were covered insufficiently? Did you feel like you had to get another HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Graphics book to finish your site?

I am going to be adding more content about site design and development rather than just page-oriented material, and will also be talking more extensively about CSS and page validation tools to ensure that your content will render properly across as many browsers as possible.

What else? What else should I include??
