I’m confused about the fact that every time I post photos to Twitter from my new iPhone 6 Plus they look terrible on my computer. The phone does a good job as a camera, but they end up low resolution on Twitter. Why? How do I fix it?
You’ve bumped into one of the least known settings on the iPhone, as far as I can tell. I mean, there you are with the shiny new iPhone 6 Plus, a phone that’s larger than most HDTV systems (just kidding!), a smartphone that has a beautiful new camera, and the pics you’re posting on Twitter from the iPhone look like they’re from an iPhone 1. Not so good.
Now there are a lot of Twitter clients available for the iPhone and iOS devices, but I’m betting that like most people, you’re running the stock “Twitter” app that’s the official program from Twitter for the iPhone, iPad, etc. That’s good, so am I.
All ya need to do is go to Settings. But then again, you need to know how to find ’em.
Here’s the standard Twitter view on an iPhone:
See along the bottom the button for “Me”? That’s the one you want.
Tap on it.
We’re getting there.
Now, tap on the gear icon adjacent to your profile photo…
You can guess, it’s time to tap on “Settings”.
So do so!
See the second option, the first one under General? “Image upload quality”.
Well, there it is! Tap on it.
If yours isn’t set to “High” then tap on it to change it.
That’s all there is. Now try posting another photo on Twitter and your results should be significantly improved!
Hello, so the settings are changed in the new Twitter update. I was wondering how would I do this now? Thankyouu
