ANC Bluetooth headphones with high-res audio
0:03
Let's open the box and check them out. Dave Taylor here, and I'm checking out these
0:14
These are the one more SonoFlo Pro-Blutooth ANC headphones model HQ51, and they're really nice
0:24
At least I think they are because they're in the box. So let's do an unboxing and then we'll check them out
0:30
And opening the box, there are exactly two things in here. There is the instructions
0:36
We'll go back to that in a minute. And there are the headphones in this nice travel case
0:42
Let's open it up, let's see what's inside. And not a huge surprise
0:47
The actual headphones themselves, let's unfold them. You can see they fold, they adjust, they have what are known as protein leather
0:56
headband, and ear cushions. So that means they're a vegan leather for those of you that are concerned about that
1:03
And they feature 40 millimeter drivers that give you 20 to 40,000 hertz frequency response
1:10
And because they're based on LDAQ, they actually give you high-res audio
1:14
So they're certified high-res audio. And what that means is it's getting about 3x normal Bluetooth audio data
1:22
So you're getting a bigger, richer, more expansive sound. Very nice. They also feature pretty darn nice quiet max A&C, which can drop up to 42 decibels out of your listening environment
1:36
So even if you put these on and don't do any music or anything, it still just quiets everything down
1:43
I do that a lot now, actually. So sometimes I just don't want to listen to music, but I don't want to be in a loud environment
1:49
And you can turn on the ANC and just enjoy a quieter environment
1:54
But of course, if you give it music, then it gets even better, and that ANC is really a rock star
2:01
Also supports spatial sound and it has 12 EQ settings. Now, a lot of that you have to control through the app
2:09
So we'll get to the app in just a minute. But low latency gaming is an option, and it has microphones
2:16
So if you want to use this and you're on a phone call or something
2:20
then it actually has ENC or environmental noise canceling for. those microphones which will give you a little less background noise which the
2:28
person on the other end will definitely appreciate one of the areas these really shine is a hundred hours of playback time now turn on ANC that drops down to 65 hours But seriously 65 hours
2:41
That should be a couple of weeks of listening. And crazy enough, if you plug these in for five minutes
2:48
you will charge up enough for 10 hours of playback. So that's pretty remarkable
2:53
They're also the very latest generation of Bluetooth, which is 5.4. So they are maximally competitive
3:00
They are maximally going to be able to connect and stay connected even as you move around
3:06
So super helpful. And let's see what else is in this box
3:10
So we have as I said the headphones and then there's this plastic bag
3:15
Let's open this up. And... All right, there we go. So we have a little tiny USBA to USBC cable
3:28
I'm sure that's the charging cable. and then we have this, which is really nice
3:33
It's a 3.5 millimeter to 2.5 millimeter cable with unusually for these sort of things
3:42
a fairly minimal but useful inline control. My guess is that that is actually a mute button
3:48
I haven't tested that. Obviously, it's still wrapped up and straight out of the box
3:53
but that's because you can use these wireless Bluetooth, or if you prefer, you can use them wired
4:00
Now, this is a good time to jump into a close-up so you can see on the right ear cup, on the extreme right edge of it is the power button
4:10
At the bottom is that 2.5 millimeter jack for wired use. And then on the side is a multifunction button and volume up and down
4:19
On the left side is USBC for charging and nothing else. And not sure you can see, but the ear pieces actually tell you right and left
4:30
So you can tell what orientation to put it on your ears, or you can simply just make sure that all the buttons end up on your right ear
4:37
And as you put them on, you can stretch them out to have them be maximally comfortable
4:43
They are very comfortable. They're very lightweight. Now, I have already paired them with my phone through the miracle of technology
4:51
So let me just double check that they're still paired. And looks like they are
4:58
Great, so let me show you that. app because it's pretty slick and I will say up front that when you search in the
5:06
App Store for one more there are a number of apps so you want to make sure you get the one that has the icon that looks like this now it open it up and I will tap on these headphones and let see what happening here it should it should have already seen that oh you know what I didn do I didn turn the headphones on so let try doing that that might help things out there we go okay a little bit of a hiccup there because I think it was already powered on
5:36
and I turned them off when I thought I was turning them on. Be that as it may, we do now have them paired with the app
5:43
and you can see in the app that it gives you the listening modes, and that's your active noise cancelling, or not
5:49
But it also, as I said, has 12 EQ settings, and here you can see all of the different ones
5:56
If you look at the very bottom of the screen, it shows you the waveform for the particular EQ you've chosen
6:04
and I have to say, I've been really enjoying deep. I went back and listened to some early electric light orchestra
6:11
and with that deep setting, it's just a big, rich, beautiful sound
6:16
I mean, it really sounds nice. And let's see, you can do your own custom EQ
6:21
and you can get to settings, and so there is a burn-in process that they recommend that you do
6:27
and that's as easy as just choosing it. And generally, what you want to do is start the burn-in process
6:34
and it's just, it sounds like static. And you just leave your headphones overnight
6:38
let it run the burn-in process, and you'll get a better sound out of them
6:43
And it just makes sure that like all of the speaker elements
6:46
are all being exercised for lack of a better word. I'm not going to do that right now
6:51
because I wouldn't want those on my head. Super important, you can check for firmware updates
6:57
and then you can get into some things like experimental features, which offers dual device connection
7:05
which is pretty interesting. And let's see, we can go to, they have a music festival
7:11
I'm going to skip that. And I'm going to go back to here. And if we go to shortcuts
7:17
now you can see that I've enabled spatial sound and I can enable low latency
7:24
And, you know, why would you enable low latency for gaming? To make sure that when the source device
7:31
triggers a sound you hear it in as few milliseconds as possible because if you're
7:36
playing a game take these off if you're playing a game and there's footsteps behind
7:42
you you don want to catch that a half a second late because by then you probably been you know eliminated from the game So that the app and it is entirely functional
7:54
I found the whole process of pairing the device quite easy. I know I had a little hiccup there with the power button, but that was me
8:02
That's not on them. And that's really everything I got here. I will tell you these have great sound and they have great ANC
8:10
I am really impressed at how much they've done right with these headphones
8:16
They're simple, they're elegant, they have a very straightforward design, and everything I listened to just sounded fantastic
8:25
I mean, it was close your eyes and enjoy your music level sound
8:29
and that's a wonderful thing to experience, particularly at this price point
8:33
So they come in black or blue, and they are definitely worth checking out
8:39
Now, we aren't going to have to talk about the price and you're going to be surprised at how inexpensive they are

I'm constantly pushing out, hopefully really interesting reviews. If this one was of value, give me a thumbs up
9:02
If you think I missed something, then leave a comment and tell me what you wish I would have covered
9:07
Always super helpful. Cool. These are the one more Sonoflo Pro Bluetooth ANC headphones, and they come in black or blue, and they are 8799, currently minus 20%, dropping them down to a remarkable $70.39 at Amazon.com
9:31
That's $70 for ANC and 100 hour of battery life, and the option to use them wire
9:38
instead of wireless if that's your preference. So all of that, honestly, I think they could sell these for 169
9:45
and it would still be a good deal, but to get these for $70 is a no-brainer improvement to your audio world
9:52
and who doesn't want to do that? It's everything I got. I think I'm going to go back to some ELO
9:57
so I'll have to catch you in my next video
