This will change all your video conferences. Let's plug it in and check it out
0:11
Dave Taylor here and a barred a huge conference room so I could demonstrate this device
0:16
This is the Neuroam 360 Pro all-in-one conference camera and it's pretty amazing
0:24
On the top is a Sony 360-degree camera. It's a 12 mega-oom
0:30
pixel camera at F2.0 and basically that little tiny view is enough that it can
0:37
actually see everything around it, identify who's talking, and zoom in on that person
0:44
But what gets really cool is that it has both a panorama view so you can see everything
0:49
going on and it can automatically jump into the person who's speaking
0:55
Really cool. Also has a 3x digital zoom and a ton of other features
0:59
accessible through the remote control, which you can use, but I find you don't really need very much
1:06
You plug this into a computer, that computer you jump on to Zoom
1:11
or Google Meet or Microsoft Teams or any of those software systems
1:16
and it's ready to go. All you have to do is pick it as the input, as the microphone input
1:22
and as the audio output, because the lower part is actually a high-fidelity speaker
1:28
So it features six, omnidirectional microphones, they're all sort of tucked along the bottom here. The bottom also has an
1:35
LED light that shows you different status. And then on the top, there are also different buttons
1:42
and they control whether you have an audio mute, they control volume up and down on the speaker
1:50
the audio output, and it lets you jump quickly into what they call gallery mode. So all of that really cool
1:58
The microphones are noise canceling too. And of course, it's generally not going to be right in front of one person
2:04
It's going to be like sitting in the middle of the conference table. And as everyone talks, then the person who's remote will be able to just see it, like move to that person
2:14
Move to the next person. And along the top, they're going to see a 360 view
2:19
Here's a tiny preview. I going to do a full demo in just a minute But you can see really slick and it AI powered auto framing It works with Windows and Mac and Linux and Chrome OS
2:32
And I'm going to demo the remote control in a second, but let me give you a quick tour before we get there
2:38
On the remote, you have camera on and off, microphone on and off, volume up and down, speaker on and off
2:49
arrow keys to move the image center. You have a return button and a menu button
2:56
and a multifunction button which lets you switch different AI modes. And finally, you have image zoom out and image zoom in
3:06
So all that's on this little tiny remote control. Again, it's complicated, but you don't need to use it
3:14
So there's also a near sync app you can get for your computer
3:18
that will update the firmware. That's helpful to have. But most importantly, let's do this demo
3:26
All right, let me start by having it find me. And there you go
3:31
That's how quickly it can actually find you. And now I'm going to sit down
3:35
because typically when I'm at an event like this, I'm going to be sitting
3:39
And you can see it's automatically finding me. And what's fun with this is that top part
3:45
gives you that 360-degree view. so you can see I'm facing a television
3:50
Now, let me show you an even bigger, further back view from my camera
3:55
And my camera, hi, way over there. You can see how everything's laid out in the conference room
4:01
But what's really cool is that the unit itself is just sitting on the table
4:07
Now, let me jump into one more recording, and this is what Zoom is actually seeing from the camera
4:14
and picking up from the microphone. In fact, the whole time you've been hearing me from the microphone, and now it's the camera too
4:23
and it's easy to work with, and I have remote control, so I can do things like I can say
4:29
oh, I might be talking, but we want to have... Let's see what's happening here
4:36
Oh, I think it's because I'm talking. Let me stop talking. Now I going to talk and it will just jump back to me after a moment or two hopefully
5:00
And I can go to a different mode. There we go. So I was in the wrong mode and that's what happens
5:07
But I can also zoom in further, maybe. So it is a very complicated remote control
5:15
There's a lot going on. In reality, mostly what you're going to want to do is either mute the microphone or you're
5:22
going to want to turn off the speaker. When you're done, most likely what people will do is they will unplug the device
5:29
But between all of those features, I think you've got a good sense and it's a really good image
5:35
Considering there's not a camera actually pointing at me, but just that little sort of fish eye
5:40
at the top of this device, it's remarkable how it's able to give you that 360-degree view
5:47
and to come in and just look at just me. So really cool functionality
5:52
Let me go ahead and get back onto my regular camera so I can tell you just a bit more about it
5:58
Important for me to tell you is that you need to bring your own triple A batteries
6:02
It takes two for the remote control. It does include a USBC to USBC or USBA
6:12
It has its own built-in adapter, which is great. I had this plugged into my MacBook Pro that only has USBC, and as you saw, it worked flawlessly
6:22
It also has a power adapter. It will need to be plugged in in addition
6:27
Where does all that happen? On the very bottom, there are two little plug holes and a little couple of slots so that the wire can run neatly
6:37
and then it just sits. Obviously, in a conference room that's long like this, this is a tricky environment for this
6:45
But this is really ideal if you have like a round conference table or rectangular conference table and you just put this right in the middle
6:54
And then you don't have to focus or do anything else. And naturally, because the audio is coming out of the speaker, it'll be also where people tend to look
7:04
So it's all very neatly designed. And you want to have a computer so you have a monitor but that computer is also going to be showing you the person or people on the other end In some conference rooms like over here I have a big television on a stand I would probably plug that into the television and then have this more or less in front of the TV
7:26
so that when I'm looking at the person talking, if they're looking at me through this
7:32
then my eyes are going to be reasonably on target rather than me doing something like this
7:37
and you or the other person thinking, dude's not even looking at me. What up
7:42
So just about everything. I will say it's 11.1 inches tall by 4.2 inches across on the base at the largest point
7:52
It's 33 ounces, so it's surprisingly light. You do have to remember to bring the cables, but that's really everything
8:00
You could use this anywhere. You could use this at a coffee shop if you really want to
8:04
and then people get the fun of seeing everything around you, not just you
8:10
So in some settings, that might not be great, but in other settings, that's going to be really fun
8:16
So if you're looking to up your conference game and really have better web conferences, this is a really solid option
8:25
Now, let's talk about the price because it's a bit spendy. But before we get to the price, I'm going to ask you to subscribe to my channel, click or tap on that subscribe button, hit the bell icon for notifications, please
8:37
and if you found this of value, please don't hesitate to give me a thumbs up
8:43
Great. Now, this is the Neuroam 360 Pro all-in-one conference camera, and it is $799, currently discounted down to $699 at neuroam.com
8:59
So if you spend a lot of time on multi-person web conferences when you're one of multiple people in a room
9:07
This is a game changer. It is also super fun. So definitely one to check out. That's all I got. I need to clean this conference room up before the next conference gets here, which means I'll have to catch you in my next video
