I’ve been hearing from people about how gift cards from businesses can easily be scammed, but I just don’t see how that can be done. I mean, they’re not activated until you buy them, and then they’re just stored-value cards, right? Can you explain?
Dave, I think I finally figured out what phishing is, and who the phish are, but I just bumped into another term, pharming, and was hoping you could explain it so I could figure out how they differ?
Dave, I’m getting more and more confused. I keep getting warnings and alerts from Paypal, eBay, my bank, and various other banks and financial institutions that I don’t even have accounts with, all telling me to log in and verify my account information. I’ve read about something called “phishing” and am wondering if that’s what these messages actually are?
