How do I track down who owns a Gmail account?

I need to find the sender of an email I received that was a death threat and the domain was @gmail.com. I have contacted the police and fear it will take too long for them to find out any information. Is there anyway you can assist me? The email address was deadlykillers61@gmail.com.

How can I find unread messages in Google’s Gmail?

I’m a big fan of Google’s Gmail service, except there are some things I can’t quite figure out. For example, some of my mail is routed into folders (well, label bins, whatever they call them) and I find myself paging through thousands of messages to identify those that are unread. Also, can I search through my chat history to find specific things?

This is weird: my friends are telling me that when I send mail from Gmail, the return address is to googlemail.com, not gmail.com. Have I had my Gmail account hacked or something?

Google makes a big deal about how you should keep all your email when you’re a Gmail user, because it’s easy to search through your archives, however big they may get. What I can’t figure out, however, is how to search my deleted email!

Am currently in the uk and here the domain for gmail account is @googlemail.com. I recently created a gmail account and i was wondering whether theres a way to change my address from username@googlemail.com to username@gmail.com? I know that whether you write username@gmail.com and username@googlemail.com get delivered to the same inbox..but still want to change the domain of my email add! :))
