Dave, You say Firefox has “elegant built-in RSS capabilities but I can not find it in any menu or help. How do I get Firefox to function as an RSS ‘browser’ or aggregator?

Hello Dave, I work on Mac OS X and I have been trying to add a favicon.ico to my website’s address bar, only to find that it only shows when I open it with Netscape or Firefox, all the other browsers like Safari and Explorer don’t seem to recognize it…. Can you help?? It is driving me mad…
Dave, I was talking with my ISP and he suggested that I use an “ssh tunnnel” when I use my email program, Microsoft Entourage, on any public wireless networks to avoid exposing my account and password to anyone who might be sniffing the wi-fi network. Problem is, I have no idea what they’re talking about, but I’m definitely paranoid about security and the idea of point-to-point encryption sounds wonderful. Can you tell me how to set this up?
Dave, I’ve noticed that you write about Gmail a lot, but I’m hoping you can help me out with an MSN Hotmail question too: I’ve had an account on Hotmail for a long time and would like to be able to have messages from specific mailing lists automatically filed in different folders, rather than jammed into my inbox. Is that doable, and if so, how?
Dave, I get a lot of spam each day and have noticed that a lot of it is not even addressed to my email address. How am I getting it?
Dave, you’ve convinced me! I want a Gmail account so I can use a web-based email system that integrates smoothly into my regular mailbox. But how do I get an account? Can you just give me one, please? 🙂
Dave, now that I have my Wi-Fi network working I would like to know how to keep it secure. I know that I have to enable WEP encryption. But how? I’m running WinXP as a “server” (with a PCI Wi-Fi Card), and Win98 and PalmOS as clients.
Dave, I’ve been using Firefox for a few months and really like it, but I just heard that there are some tweaks you can make to the program that actually speed it up quite a bit. Can you tell me how to make those adjustments and help me get the fastest possible Web surfing experience?
