Question for you, Dave: A company reached out to me re: sponsored post type of posts … offering a decent fee in return. They submitted their first post to me. It’s solid, but it’s written as if I wrote it. Even mentions my daughter to further make it sound like it’s me.
I called them on it. They said they would remove that. But they don’t want the terms “guest post’ or ‘sponsored post’ associated with the article. Unethical right?
I can understand spam comments that are links to stupid sites, gambling, porn, whatever. What I don’t get are comments that don’t even have links, or link to something completely benign like google.com. What’s the inside scoop, blogmaster Dave?
I just posted a link to a particularly good blog post on my Facebook page and someone said that my permalink URLs, that are of the form “?p=39”, are bad. What’s wrong with them and how do I fix it in Wordpress?
After struggling with YouTube embed code for months, a friend just told me that I can have the YouTube URL on its own line and Wordpress itself creates the proper embed. Awesome! What else can I embed?
