I love smiley faces, emoticons, emoji and all those fun little pictures that can turn a dull chat into something far more amusing. Facebook stickers are a great addition, but sometimes people post stickers I don’t have myself. What?!? How do I add more stickers to my chat palette?
I’m slowly warming up to the “stickers” on Facebook after having spent time learning about all the emoji that the service supports like (y) for a thumbs up icon and (^^^) for a shark [Tip: I have the whole list here: Fun Emoji for Facebook Chat]. Stickers are a lot bigger, though, and therefore can be a lot more in your face, which can be a positive or a negative depending on the other person in your chat. Certainly some group chats can devolve quickly into a stream of increasingly daft sticker graphics.
Still, when used appropriately, I definitely agree that stickers are a great addition to your palette of options for Facebook chat, and it’s well worth knowing that there are lots of additional sticker sets available and that they’re all free. So far. Perhaps down the road that’ll change…
Let me show you how to peruse what’s available and even remove some of the default stickers if you don’t like a particular pre-installed set.
To start, a typical back and forth Facebook chat:
As you can see, I used a sticker that’s the iconic Facebook hand holding a glass of champagne. Fun, right?
To add new stickers to your chat, simply click on the tiny smiley face icon to the right of the input window. That’ll show you the tiny emoticons too, if you prefer the little pics, but the big ones are neatly categorized by emotion too:
Nice. It’s interesting to consider which emotional states they have and which they’ve skipped (like “studying”) but before you get side tracked considering all that you do have installed, click on the “+” on the top right of this window.
You’ll be taken to the Facebook Stickers main window, errr, ‘Sticker Store’:
Scroll around to find some that you like. Here’s one that’s fun, particularly if you enjoyed The LEGO Movie:
To install these and add them to your available stickers list, simply click the green “Free” button.
That’s it. Done. Installed.
If you find a set of stickers installed that you’d rather remove, that’s easy too, as shown with these weird Pusheen cat stickers:
You may like ’em, but I don’t, so a click on “Remove” solves the problem.
Once you’ve installed all the stickers you want — and I say add a bunch, they’re free! — you can get to them by clicking on their icon along the top of the Stickers window:
I mean, seriously, who doesn’t love the Minions from Despicable Me??
sounds good, but its impossible to remove them like you say. I have been trying to remove some that I added for the past 5 months and when i click on the “remove”, absolutely nothing happens and the unwanted stickers are still there !?
How can I apply my own pack of icons to facebook “Sticker Store”?
24 BUTTERCUP LN. I HAD DANCING ANTS IN MY STICKER STORE . I CHANGE THEM EVERY NOW AND THEN, AND WHEN I DO, OTHERS GO OFF. NOW I WANT MY DANCING ANTS BACK AND CANT GET THEM . WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?

If they don’t have those stickers in the library, the best you can do is attach a picture of your own with the message or sentiment you want.
How can I post flowers and hearts on facebook pages????? I see other people can do it.
