What is "article spinning" software?I write for other sites and a friend told me that I should use article spinning software so that I can have a bunch of versions to distribute, rather than write on a one-by-one basis. Sounds interesting, but what is it? Here's the problem: You write an article and want to have it appear on as many different sites as possible, because what you really want is those all-important backlinks from the other sites back to your own. They're votes for your own site and they are legitimate ways to get better search engine results. If you publish the same article on a bunch of sites, however, you end up with what's known in SEO circles as "the duplicate content problem": Google and other search engines don't want to point to multiple versions of the same article, they want to point to different articles, as a service to people searching for answers. Solution? Magic applications that can take your article and "transform" it by replacing words with synonyms, changing the order of paragraphs, and even changing the tense of words, etc. That's what "article spinning" or "automatic content generation" is all about. Does it work? Well, here's a recent comment left on this blog that has all the earmarks of being produced by this sort of article spinning application: if you consider that a diary is a web computer defined by frequent articles displayed in chronological enjoin, typically with timestamps, a la a writing or diary, you're wanting the land for the trees. Weblogs, instead, are just the frontal that we see of substantially statesman regent cognition management systems that rattling revolutionize the maintenance of Websites. Examine at it this way: if you're not using a journal to better handle your parcel, when was the endmost period you superimposed any new volume or revised an existing writer? When you do add collection, do you attain reliable to union it into all the remaining pages on your situation, including your sitemap? Certain, there are separate software solutions for managing Web sites, but none that are as pliant, unproblematic, inexpensive, and SEO-friendly as weblogs. Maybe it's just me, but that's just gobbledygook. Does that make any sense to you? I don't think so. In fact, I will go as far as to say that I can't imagine how article spinning is anything other than a tool to pollute and game the Web and is an active disservice to readers, the heart of the Web in the first place. My advice to you is to avoid the article spinning tool your friend is so gung-ho about and instead put in the time to write different versions of the same article, then use those to gain those inbound links. They can be about the same topic and even make the same basic points. Just make sure each and every one is useful, informative and helpful to readers and you'll be well on your way to improving your search engine results without any sort of gaming or risks.

Article re-writing is much better than article spinning. If you can do manually both tens of times, wait good SEO positions :) Dan said, on May 9, 2010 12:31 PM:

Great points Dave. I'd have to say though Article spinners don't have to be used to create spam. They can used to make re-writing dramatically faster. I often take 2-3 short blog posts, combine them, then shove that in the spinner, and manually edit the result. Saves a lot of time. karen anderson said, on July 27, 2010 1:20 AM:
This is such a very great post ad the subject is really interesting..!!Article spinning is the substitution of words, phrase, sentences and paragraph to be able to create multiple copies..!! Edward Loic said, on September 22, 2010 8:48 PM:
there are better spinning softwares out there that relies on the user to actually rewrite the words, sentences, paragraphs, etc. Kind of the best of both words. actual, legible and helpful content written from one person to another, but re-written in such a way that in the time it takes you to re-write a handful of articles, you could conceivably have 100's. Quasi automation, as it were. I've recently been using such a spinner and it has really opened my eyes to the possibilities. I could do the same thing that you do with your rewrites but do it quicker and with a multiplied result. So it really gives the power to re-purpose your content, so instead of just putting out a crazy amount of articles, you could take the same content -- re-written -- and produce press releases, blog posts, bookmarking posts, web 2 content, video profiles, etc. In effect, this gives you the ability to increase your distribution channels and thus maximize your reach for the click through traffic, further syndication, and the fringe benefit of the seo links. thanks, Fred Beers

LOL! "chronological enjoin"??? Now I'll be looking for an opportunity to use that in a sentence. I'd be scared what the non-spun version was like. I doubt it is as entertaining but probably as clear.
