What does "MILF" mean?

I know that it's probably crude, but I keep getting spam talking about "milf" and have no idea what it means. Can you enlighten me?

Dave's Answer:

Oh boy. As it turns out, MILF is a staggeringly popular acronym and actually often turns up in the top 20 search terms for search engines when they show off the uncensored list of words. What does it mean? Well, let's say that the first letters are "Mothers I'd Like to..." and the last letter stands for, um, a specific intimate activity. Got it? :-)

There are even T-shirts you can buy with "milf" on them, like an infant one that says (I am not making this up!) My Mother is a M.I.L.F., or the black t-shirt from Amazon shown below:

MILF in Training
Try explaining this to your Mom!

Personally, while I find the idea that post-pregnancy women are attractive is obviously true, the crude appeal of this particular base phenomenon escapes me.

Fortunately, there are also some less crude, more amusing acronyms you can encounter in your spam too. Here's one more for luck: "MLM" for multi-level marketing (think Avon or Amway, it's when you not only sell products, but sign up others to sell them too, getting a small cut of their sales. With a big enough pyramid the people near the top can then make a ton of money with little, if any work).

Since spam filters can easily identify words like "free" and such, there are often strange and cryptic spellings you'll see too, like "fr*ee" or "fr3e" or even "fr7ee" or similar. Those are an easy red flag: if you see any message that has a deliberately misspelled word in the subject, it's time to throw that one away without opening it.

Hope that helps!

Well, if you bothered to watch the movie "American Pie" then the fascination of a young man discovering that there are ladies who are both Mothers (very important to a young man) and F___able (very important to as young man) then the fascination is kind of obvious. ;)

Dear Dave,
I wanted to do a scan as my computer is definitely slow and "jerky" these days but the free scan you post does not work with my system (Windows 2000 Professional). Do you have an alternative?

Sincerely,

Robert

Yes, we used that term to describe any of our friends mothers who were good looking...back in middle school in the 80s.
