Why Can't I See My Customized MySpace Profile?

Hi! I got some myspace backgrounds from another site- and they are really cool, the only problem is that the boxes on the left with favorite movies, etc. are cut off- it only shows about half of them starting with the movies and doesn't show any boxes below it until my schools box. Why is this and how can I fix it and still keep the cool background?

Hi, I can't loggin to my myspace most of the time, I can see other peoples pages but certain things just won't load correctly. I downloaded Firefox thinking that it may have been IE7 but that didn't help. The myspace page either starts to load (a blank grey screen) and says done, tries to load forever or loads a garbled mess that I can't do anything with. Any help would be appreciated.

why does MY PROFILE say "This profile is set to private. This user must add you as a friend to see his/her profile", when i click on my view all friends button? I haven't made my profile private. And when i login i'm not given the option to view my friends, my profile, my photos, or videos. Why is this and how can i fix it?

I copy and pasted a myspace layout for my profile. I think other people can see the new layout but I can't see it my self when I sign in. Why is that? When I click the word profile on the very bottom, the "public version" of my profile is displayed without the customized layout. Its a regular layout without the friends and all the other info you would have the webpage.

I think someone hacked my page...now no one can see my pix...or leave messages bc when you click the icon it sends you to an advertisement..or says this website is unavailable..How can i change this?

everyone can see my videos and slideshow on myspace, but when I log in from my computer I can't see my video or slideshow. I added Adobe FlashPlayer 9 but it still won't work. What software if any is missing from my computer. This just started two weeks ago. Before that I could see everything.

When I was not logged onto my account, I tried to view it but it told me it was set to private, which it isn't, and that it hadn't been updated in 2 years, which it has been. Whats wrong?

Dalton, hate to say it, but are you sure you're looking at YOUR profile when experience that? Also, note that "under 18" and "over 18" are different worlds on MySpace, so if you're logged in to an over 18 account and are searching for an under-18 profile, that might cause problems too.

I am having a similar problem to a few on this site. From my mac, I cannot see my slide shows or music on my page. From a "regular" computer, I CAN. I used to be able to see my slide shows and I used to be able to listen to my music from my profile page (not my editing page). What can I do? I have updated quicktime....I don't know what else is going on!

So I set up my myspace account and did all of that fantastic verifying of information. I have set my display name and my first and last name for private searches...however people can't find me when they search for me using my name. I use a MAC (and am new at it..), i browse with Safari, me and Myspace are having problems!!..i wanna see pictures of my friends....and "IT" won't let me!! ...I just see a small blue square qustion mark in the place of the picture instead!....It used to work last week though.

I have a problem with my Facebook page and friends pages. Ever since i downloaded Internet Explorer 7.0 my Facebook page has gone wrong. I can view some of my page but not all of it. I can't view my Wall although, i am able to view my Fun Wall. I have to enter applications via the applications page which is very annoying, and to edit them or remove them i have to do it the same way. I can't move my applications around my page at all and i am unable to see all of my friends pages, usualy the left hand side only. Can anyone help as i've contacted Facebook but they have proven unhelpfull.

I use both Apple's Safari and Internet Explorer... When I go to look at my profile on Safari the only thing that shows up is the background and the music... When I use IE everything shows up just fine... I had my roommate sign on and go look at her page on Safari and everything was fine... i can't figure out what is wrong... HELP!!

I log into myspace, click on a friend's pics, am then brought to a page telling me to log in, I do that again and I get the same page again and even if I search for the friend, click on pics again, I get asked to log in. Can you help?

when i went to this websit i wanted to customize my comment box so i put a picture from "photobucket" where it says "background image"(optional) and then when i looked at it it was hot of whatever but then when i look at it on my myspace page the whole thing was white.why does it do that

When I click on edit profile all the boxes are empty as if all my codes and writing were erased, however it doesnt even show my about me box or my headline box. It only shows general,movies,heroes ect. I cant edit anything to change it. Please help I would hate to make another site after all the friends i have on this one.

Help!! How do you customize the "this profile is set to private" page on myspace?

When I go to view my profile on myspace, it shows my profile as completely blank, expect it does show the background. I have tried changing and deleting the background and even deleting all my info and nothing. It does the same thing if someone else is tring to veiw it as well.
Another thing is myspace wont display my first page of my comments to me, it does the same thing as when I try to view my profile. HELP PLEASE

I have a solution to one problem some of you mention...and I have a problem of my own that some of you also have.

First - If you're unable to login to MySpace and it opens a blank page, leaving your login page as is...I found a solution that worked for me (IE7/Vista). Go to Your Internet Explorer "Tools", click "Internet Options", then the "Advanced" tab. You'll need to "Reset" your Internet Explorer settings. You may want to note some of the current settings in case you want to put some things back the way they were. This worked for me and I can finally login to MySpace from my laptop. Yay!

Now for MY problem: Awhile after getting my Dell laptop with Vista, my MySpace profile stopped displaying completely. The "About Me" section is cut off about 4 inches down, "Who I'd Like To Meet" doesn't show up at all. My "Friends" section looks fine. My "Comments" section is cut off after several inches. One fix that was suggested was to disable all add-ons, which I tried with no success. I've deleted all cache, temp. internet files, etc.

This has been going on for over a year and I've yet to find a solution.

On other computers, I can see the profile in its entirety. I've tried using Foxfire on my laptop and the problem is even worse...the text and pictures aren't visible at all, all I can see is colors.

ok,i have a problem with my profile(myspace),i posted some fotobucket pics into my profile and i can only see some of them in my profile.Some are not even there,instead,there's a big empty space where it should be.Also,my comment box is cut in half,you can only see half of the comments,the rest is cut and you can't see it.Can somebody help me,i really need help because there's a lot of empty space in my profile where pics,comments,vids,texts should be..somebody please help me.thanks...

i'm having similar problems as these folks... when i go to view my profile on myspace (even from the public version)from my home computer, i can see everything fine except for the video i put on there, it just looks like a clear square. I just bought a new dell laptop, and due to the security settings, it will not show about half of the pics on myspace, including my profile and comments I get from friends. Plus, the video that plays on my profile does not even show up. When I pull up myspace on another laptop that I have, everything works fine, so it's not the links or anything that I've done. What changes do I need to make to the security levels to show everything fully? Thanks!

Not sure how that would be a hardware setting, Kirk. Instead, dig around in the privacy and security settings in your Web browser and/or try grabbing a different browser (for example, http://www.getfirefox.com/) and see what happens.

I have a problem...a month ago, I used a Pimp My Profile layout editor to modify a layout. I generated and pasted the code, then went to my profile, only to see no background at all. It's just blank white. I've used some layouts from other websites, but the same thing happens with those...I didn't even edit them. Is there any way I can fix this?

This is my big problem:
I used to use Explorer 7 but updated to Explorer 8.0. I can go to any web site but MySpace and my Hotmail has become really, really slow! When I go to MySpace.com it does come up, but it looks strange and it's difficult to navigate, there are no pictures and the player doesn't work. I tried to uninstall Explorer 8.0, but it still doesn't work. Then I tried to use Firefox - still the same problem. Could it be that I need to change the security functions on my computer?? I use Vista.
