I switched themes on my Windows 8 laptop and I’m really liking the new racecar theme, but now I get an engine revving noise every time I start a new app or a new window opens. Driving me crazy! How do I turn off theme audio sound effects in Win8?
In Windows 8, is there a way to have all the controls automatically hide when I’m watching a video? I like to keep the window small, but really don’t want the play, back, forward and other buttons displayed!
On my Windows 8 laptop I’m constantly fiddling with the brightness and volume to maximize battery life. I know there are controls on the nav bar along the bottom but is there a single place where all my battery, brightness, and volume controls are all together?
Most of the time the applications shown on the Start Menu are exactly what I need to run, but I’d like to have a few “pinned” or locked. Is that possible, and if so how do I pin a program onto the Windows 7 Start Menu?
