How do I create a new Aperture library on my Mac?
I take a lot of photos. So many that Aperture is starting to bog down. I was talking with a fellow photographer and he said that he splits his Aperture library every six months. Sounds like a good idea. How do I create a new Aperture library or, better, move a project into a new library?

Change what program manages iPhone photos on Windows 7?
When I plug in my Apple iPhone 4s into my Dell Windows 7 laptop, it automatically imports all the photos and videos into Windows Live Photo Gallery. It's driving me crazy! I don't want to use this particular program for managing my photos! How can I change it or, better, have Win7 simply ask me what to do when I hook up my iPhone?

How do I embed a Picasa / Google Photos photograph on my blog?
My friend and colleague Drew, on Google Plus, asked: What did Google do to Picasa? It is now part of Google Plus but I can't figure out how to embed those photos on my blog like I used to be able to do. IT is not an option. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Order photo prints from within Aperture?
I've just started using Aperture on my iMac rather than iPhoto because I have been told I have too many photos for iPhoto to work well and I was definitely seeing a slowdown in performance. I really miss the output options in iPhoto though, most especially the ability to make photo books and order prints. Can I do any of that in Aperture?

How do I add photos to my iPod from my Windows PC?
I have a new iPod Touch which is awesome, but one thing has stumped me: how do I add photos to my iPod? My friends on Mac systems can somehow hook it up so that their newest albums in iPhoto are automatically copied across, but I don't have a Mac, I have a Toshiba running Windows Vista, so am I stuck?

How can I speed up Apple's Aperture program?
I really like Aperture, but I have to say that it's pretty crazy slow when I start it up, often taking a few minutes before I can use it on my iMac. That can't be right, even with a lot of photos in the library. Are there any ways to speed Aperture up??

Import photos into Aperture from my DSLR camera?
I've been experimenting with different photo management applications on my new iMac system and am impressed with Aperture. Except for one little glitch: sometimes when I plug in my camera it automatically shows up in Apple's Aperture, and other times it doesn't. When it isn't showing up, how can I find my DSLR digital camera in Aperture?

How can I delete more than one photo from my iPad?
My kids have learned how to take screen captures on the Apple iPad [ed note: hold down the top button and push the home button. Poof, you just took a screen capture] which means that I now have tons of them in my Saved Photos album. Not good. Is there a fast and easy way to delete multiple photos or pictures from my iPad?

Can I delete more than one photo at a time on my Apple iPhone?
My kids have learned how to do screen captures on my iPhone and now whenever they're playing with the phone, they're taking screenshots of what they're doing, be they games, checking my address book or just looking at a map. Cute, but darn annoying when my photo library is overrun with this stuff. Worse, it's tedious as hell to delete them, one by one, on the phone. Without resorting to my computer, is there any way to delete more than one picture or photograph at a time on the Apple iPhone 3GS?

How can I import a folder full of photos into iPhoto?
I've been learning more about Apple iPhoto, partially thanks to your great tutorials on the subject, but am stumped. Instead of wanting to grab images directly off my camera, I find that I need to pull in a folder full of photographs from a friend so I can have them as an event. How do I import photos into iPhoto, Dave? If it makes a difference, I'm running Snow Leopard and have Mac OS X version 10.6.1.

Can I save photos in email on my Apple iPhone?
I don't know if this is even possible, but my girlfriend keeps sending me cute pictures and when I read them on my iPhone I really wish I could save them and use them as wallpaper images. Is that even possible on the iPhone, or do I have to get my computer involved in the process?

Can I edit or modify an iPhoto Smart Album?
I read through your article on How to create an iPhoto Smart Album and have been finding it pretty slick indeed. Problem is, after I've created a Smart Album I find that the photos aren't always what I want: is there some way to tweak or modify an existing Smart Album in Apple iPhoto without having to recreate it?

How can I create a smart iPhoto album or event?
I've finally imported a few years worth of photographs into iPhoto and it's very cool - I'm having fun organizing things - but in addition to how it has organized everything, I'd also like to have convenient access to photos by when they were taken. I don't know whether that'd be a new Event or an Album or even a "smart album" (whatever that is), but what's the easiest way to have a subset of my iPhoto photographs show up based on date?
