I'm running Microsoft Word on my Mac OS X system and would like to save my journal locked or otherwise password protected so that someone would need to know the secret passkey to read or modify it. Is it possible to encrypt or encipher my Word docs without too much hassle on my MacBook?
I have switched from Microsoft Word on my MacBook and iMac to using Apple's Pages document editing program. I like it a lot but can't figure out how to create password-protected files, which is important for the work I do as a therapist. I searched on Google and found a bunch of people saying it's not possible, but Apple wouldn't have created a program like Pages without including this feature, would they? How do I password protect or encrypt a Pages file, Dave?
I have a spreadsheet that I created a while back with both an open and modify password but now want to share it with someone without a password blocking access. How do I turn off the password protection in Microsoft Excel for Mac?
