i read the article about the iPad password and pin numbers [see: How to create a complicated password for your iPad], my question is what happens if your boy picks the iPad, knows your pin and decides to change it and not tell his parents? Now it seems he'd have exclusive use of the family iPad that is on the coffee table for mum and dad and him to enjoy? Is there a two pin option?
You're going to laugh, Dave, but my kids keep figuring out the simple four-digit numeric passcode I use on my iPad. They then log in and read my email, buy stuff, and generally raise Cain. It's awful. I don't want to lock up my device. Is there a way I can have a more complicated, harder to guess password or passcode on my iPad 3?
My kids keep sneaking my iPad and playing games on it without my permission. I know, I know, it's a parenting issue, not a technology issue, but I just feel that if in addition to talking with them about honesty, trust and honor, if I can add a password to the iPad to prevent easy access, I'd have a backup if they were still being sneaky. I'm sure I can set a password up on my iPad, but how?
