I'm not much of a Gmail fan because of the annoying threading feature -- is there a way to turn it off? -- but what really drives me crazy is when my colleagues and I have a discussion via email and someone occasionally posts something off-topic. That's then stuck in the thread. Isn't there a way to delete specific messages in a Google Gmail mail thread?
You wrote an article a long time ago about how it's not possible to disable the "message threading" feature in Google's Gmail [see Can I disable Gmail message threading?] but a friend told me that you CAN do just that. Is there an update for us Gmail users who hate this feature??
