This is something new: When I'm logged in to Facebook I now get an annoying audio beep every time someone posts something new that I follow, or someone comments on something I've commented on, or likes one of my own posts or anything else that would show up in the notifications menu. Blech. How do I disable this annoying notification sound in Facebook?
I heard from a colleague that Twitter's added profile pictures a la Facebook's timeline photo on the top. Nice, but how do I set it up for my own Twitter profile from within Tweetdeck or similar?
Dave Taylor updates you on the latest privacy settings on Facebook and why you need to pay attention and make sure they're exactly what you want for your own privacy and security.

Other people might enjoy it, but when friends post on my Facebook Timeline, it really upsets me. It's my timeline and I don't want other people's stuff showing up. If it's my birthday, maybe, but every other day of the year, I want business stuff showing up, not personal things, tagged photos, etc. Is there a way to disable everyone gaining access to my FB timeline?
Facebook's done it again, changing and messing with my privacy settings. Drives me so crazy I'm ready to bail on the service entirely. Dave, before I give up and lose access to the 170 friends I have, can you step me through the basics of the latest -- Dec 2012 -- version of the Facebook privacy settings?
