I really like the set of social media buttons you have on the pages of your AskDaveTaylor site, Dave. What are they, and how did you add them to your site? In particular, a lot of the ones I've looked at have uninteresting sites like Delicious and Reddit, but don't yet support the new Google Plus "+1" button, so yours is really slick. What's the story?

I've recently joined Pinterest and it's super fun. I'm becoming a pinning fool. At least, that's what my husband says. Still, I really want to get my sister and my mom hooked up. When they go to Pinterest, however, there's no sign up or register button, just a "request an invite" link. How can I get them on Pinterest directly, without them having to wait for an invite?

With the latest round of Facebook interface changes, it has now automatically created lists for me based on various criteria including my home city, each company I've worked with, what colleges I went to, who I have identified as family, and so on. Nice, except I don't want them all. How can I zap the Facebook lists I don't want?

Let me be honest and tell you that I want to know if my girlfriend is cheating on me. To find that out, I need to access her Facebook.

I want to remedy that, particularly now that I am writing about resumes, job interviews, and other career related topics. Hence my question: can I post updates to LinkedIn that include embedded URLs to my blog articles?

The Facebook Like button is now at the forefront of privacy rights conversations in Germany, following much discussion of Google Analytics and pixelated homes on Google's Streetview and Microsoft's Streetside. Dave, here is a question for you. Today I got a Twitter follow from someone who has made a total of 1 tweet, and yet this person already has 3,712 followers. I've seen other Twitter accounts with the same high number of followers and hardly any tweets yet. How do they do that? I thought content was important to building followers on Twitter.
