Cool Apple Keynote presentation tricks and tips
If you're a Mac person and do lots of presentations, you've probably already learned the many benefits of migrating from old-school Microsoft PowerPoint to the slick Keynote presentation application from Apple. It's part of the iWork suite and with very little effort just makes your presentations that much more attractive and polished.
What you might not realize is that there are some very compelling reasons to run it dual-screen rather than the simple, rather retro "mirrored screen" mode when you have a projection system or bigger screen plugged into your computer.

How can I fix "missing Calibri font" errors in Pages?
I'm so darn frustrated! Every time I try to open up a Microsoft Office document in Apple Pages, Apple Keynote or Apple Numbers, I get a warning message about fonts Calibri and Cambria being unavailable. Every time. Yet the documents aren't using the typeface anyway. What gives and, more importantly, how can I fix it so I don't see the $#@$# missing font errors?

How can I apply a new theme to a Keynote presentation?
I've made the switch from Microsoft PowerPoint to Apple Keynote, but when I open some of my old presentations, they look terrible and are too small. How can I fix them without redoing the slides one-by-one?

How to save an Apple Pages file in Microsoft Word .doc format?
I have switched from Microsoft Office on my Mac OS X system to Apple's iWorks package, which works great except every so often someone complains that my files are in .pages format, not .doc, which is what they want to see. I can't see how to save a file in Pages as an MS Word doc file, but I know it can be done. Help?

How can I merge two PDF files on a Mac?
I teach classes and like to have my handouts be as short as possible, so I will often print them "two up" or "three up" from PowerPoint or Keynote on my Mac OS X system. What I'd really like to do, however, is have the first page be full size and all the subsequent pages be the smaller slides, as a prebuilt PDF file, so that the title on the front looks good. Can I do that on my MacBook or iMac?

Can I view PowerPoint presentations without having Microsoft PowerPoint?
My colleagues at the university send me PowerPoint presentations all the time, these pesky ".ppt" files, but since I don't have PowerPoint on my computer, I can never open them. Surely there's some sort of solution that doesn't involve me paying hundreds of dollars?
