I might be the only iPhone owner who doesn't know this, but how do I actually buy and download an app for my new iPhone 4? I know the ads show it being super easy to get apps, but they don't show you how to actually do it. Help!

I'm moving into a new apartment on Friday (first time living by myself!) and I don't own a TV. However, I love movies so I'm going to buy one this weekend. You easily know more about this kind of thing than any other friend of mine, so I was wondering if you had any pointers? Things to look for - LED vs plasma, etc?

Basically, I just want to watch movies on it. I'm not a big videophile (or audiophile for that matter). I'll probably get a 40" with a Blu-Ray player and call it a day. But I don't want to make the wrong choice, so I figured I'd ask Dave. Thanks for any advice. Most people are steering me toward a Vizio at CostCo because they're pretty cheap. I just want to watch something like Wall-E and have it look incredible.

I know how to add new apps to my iPhone, but I'm not entirely clear how I update those apps when there are new versions available. Is this something I can do on my phone, or do I need to use iTunes to update iPhone apps?

A friend of mine was pretty psyched about an update to a game we both play on the iPad, a game that started out with some major bugs but has apparently fixed them in a subsequent release. When I start the game, however, it doesn't say "there's an update" as I would expect. How do I update my iPad apps?

I got a text from a friend of mine, iPhone to iPhone, and darn if she didn't have all sorts of cute little icons in her message to me. When I asked how she did it, she said "emoji!" I have no idea what that is or what it means, but I really want to be able to respond in kind ASAP. Help?!

I've finally gotten my iPhone application published by Apple and it now appears in the iTunes App Store. Super cool. Now, however, I have a few people asking for "promo codes" rather than actually wanting to pay for the app. Since they might offer me some great visibility, I am fine with sending those codes, but don't know how. Help!

I just downloaded the latest version of iTunes, all excited about being able to finally get to the Apple Applications Store and grab some new stuff for my iPhone, but when I restart, it's not there?!
