Hello I have purchased an Apple laptop. It's offering me a choice of 6 WiFi networks to connect thru. I don't have a clue as to which one to use. Can you please point me in the right direction. Thank you!
This is so frustrating! I'm staying at a hotel where they only have wired Internet connectivity in my room and a tiny four foot Ethernet cable. Well, I don't want to work on their little desk with my back to the TV. So I always carry an Apple Airport Express, which is great except it can't connect either because it needs to "accept" the hotel's Internet pricing. So what can I do to get a wifi network running for my MacBook Pro?
When I first got my Macbook (actually, it's an iBook, I think) I tried to connect to a neighbors wireless network, before I got my own network set up. Problem is, every time I start up my computer, it wants to connect to her wifi network, not my own. How do I fix this?
I have just set up a wireless connection at home - whenever I log on it says that the connection is unsecure - how do I secure it? I have a new Toshiba Laptop and a Phillips Router. I saw something about a WEP key....where do I enter this?
I have high speed Internet through my cable provider and am about to buy a palm pda, not one that has a phone in it though, anyway it says it can get on the internet with a wi-fi connection and has the wi-fi stuff installed on it. I want to know if you can use wifi with high speed wireless cable internet or what. and what is wifi, and where can you find it??? Thanks
I'm not too sure what the differences are, but my brother asked me if the Sony PSP supports 802.11 "b" or "g" and I really don't know. He also asked if it can connect to a WPA-based network, or just a WEP network, and, again, I don't know. Do you?
