Review: Brenthaven Prostyle Courier BagSince I purchased my MacBook Air, I have been looking for a bag that could carry my computer, an iPad and a few additional necessities, an extra charger for my phone and computer, and my three way power plug adapter. Everywhere I looked, I was disappointed! I shopped online, at department stores, luggage stores, you name it. I visited the Apple Store to find the perfect match for my favorite possession, but found that bags were too big, or too small, ugly and/or easily compromised by weather. I settled for an inferior computer bag and watched it continue to wither away, at times carrying an umbrella with me just to ensure I was prepared for anything, protecting my computer bag at all costs. Then I stumbled upon the Brenthaven's Prostyle 13" Courier bag which is the perfect mix of form and function, stylish, and I'm confident my computer is always protected from the elements. The Prostyle bag has a dedicated laptop compartment, which is protected by a soft and gentle faux-fur lining. The bag is compact, but there are just enough pockets for one's A/C adaptor, a few business cards and the other necessities I mentioned above, while the back slip pocket accommodates an iPad and other documents. On a typical day, I find myself running around, from meeting to meeting, traveling often, and as my business is reliant on my computer, I felt that it deserved a bag that made me feel good when I had to pack up my gear and moved quickly. The first thing I noticed about this bag is the extremely comfortable, thick strap that lets me easily carry the bag on either shoulder or across my back. This week I was running around New York, all over the city, uptown, downtown, across the park, I was everywhere and almost brought a different bag because I was unsure that the Brenthaven was large enough for all my stuff. I was pleasantly surprised as it held everything I needed for the day and night in the city. ![]() Brenthaven Prostyle 13" Courier Computer Bag Best of all, the bag is rugged, sporty, and stylish so it fits in no matter where you are, even as you float from subway to boardroom. Its leather zipper pulls, base, and metal strap adjuster help the bag stand out in almost any setting. I am still surprised at how many compliments I've received about the bag from a wide variety of people. My one complaint is about the metal latch that closes the front pocket: though I like the professional look the latch gives, it proves difficult to close and sometime open. Not impossible, just difficult. That said, I highly recommend the bag to anyone who has a MacBook Air. If you don't have an Air, be sure to check out Brenthaven's other bags. I believe that they have a dedication to quality which is why the bag has a lifetime guarantee! When a company offers a lifetime guarantee for something like a computer bag, you know that they stand behind their product, you know the company believes that this bag will be around for a long time and I am certain that this is the case for my Brenthaven. The Brenthaven's Prostyle 13" Courier bag can be found online on Amazon or on the Brenthaven website. It costs $68 and in my opinion is the perfect match for your MacBook! You will feel comfortable no matter where you are, no matter what setting you are in carrying this bag as it will align with anyone's lifestyle, no matter if you are at a desk all day, or like me, an executive on the go, this bag is for you and your MacBook Air.
