How do I post iPhone photos to my mobile facebook?Dave, help! How do I post pictures taken with my iPhone to my mobile facebook? This answer assumes that you have the latest version of the Facebook application for your iPhone. If you aren't sure, tap on the "App Store" application on your iPhone, then go to the "Updates" area, accessible from the lower right corner of the screen. If there's an update, it'll tell you and give you a chance to download and install it. In my experience, the Facebook app is pretty straightforward, so I'm a bit confused that you are having any problems, but let me show you how it works. First off, here's the Facebook application, as running on my Apple iPhone 4 (though it should look identical on a 3GS, 3G, or any other iPhone): ![]() As I have highlighted, you want to tap on the "Photos" icon on the lower right. Now you'll see a list of photo albums you've created -- if any -- as you can see I have here: ![]() Since I think you want to upload your photos to the specific folder "Mobile Uploads", I'll scroll down to find my own album with that name: ![]() Looks good! Tap on the album name you want to specify for the uploaded photo and you'll be shown the photos that are already in the album. If you don't have any albums yet, skip this step: the next one will apply regardless. ![]() See the little camera icon on the top right? Tap on it. ![]() If you already have the photo or picture you want to upload resident on your phone, you're in good shape. Tap on "Choose from Library". If you want to take a picture, as I'm going to do, then tap on "Take Photo" and you'll be seeing what your iPhone camera sees. Once I like my pic, I'll tap on the 'take picture' button in the camera app, then it pops me back to the Facebook app, where I see a preview: ![]() Looks good to me. I'll tap on "Use" on the lower right and this picture will magically be transferred to Facebook. Well, almost. In fact, Facebook invites me to enter a caption for the photo, which is a good idea. I type it in... ![]() Now I'm ready. I'll tap on "Done" and I'm looking at the photo again, but this time with the caption displayed: ![]() Almost done. I tap on "Upload" and just a few seconds later, it's on Facebook, though the feedback isn't that marvelous: ![]() Fortunately, when I go back to Facebook, I see it's a cool update, formatted and laid out exactly as I'd desire: ![]() So there ya go! Hope that's helpful. Also check out:

I have a 3GS and the latest software on my phone. I do not have a mobile uploads folder nor is there a camera icon in the upper right of any of the folders I do have. How do I get this issue fixed so I can upload pics to facebook? figured it out. Disregard I have a new Iphone 4 S and none of the photos illustrations you provide are the same on my phone and I don't ever get a camera icon. This is very frustrating my Android had an option for Facebook but this NEW phone only lets me email a photo! Any suggestions? Posted by: happkat at March 4, 2012 10:03 AM
