How do I schedule email in Microsoft Entourage?I am a brand new user of a Mac/Entourage and I can't find how to instruct the mail send/receive facility to do a timed receive scan. My PC version of Outlook enabled me set a timer (every 2 minutes or so) on receipt of emails. Can you help please? I have to admit, I have been using Microsoft Entourage for years and have spent quite a bit of time digging around in its dusty corners, learning about all of its considerable capabilities. I have four accounts, a dozen signatures, twenty autoresponse macros, and I don't even know how many filters helping me organize my mail into the at least thirty-five folders I use. But these basic questions? Sometimes there's just as tricky for me as they are for you just coming onto the platform. You find your email reception scheduling tools in a rather surprising place: Tools --> Run Schedule, as you can see here: ![]() Choose "Edit Schedule", as shown, and you'll see this little window: ![]() Your middle entry will be slightly different to mine (it shows the name of the mail server you're using: mine is "intuitive.com"), but you want to double-click on the "Receive..." line and you'll see: ![]() Now you can see where you can adjust the parameters you're talking about. I have mine set to check infrequently, I'll note, because it helps lessen interruptions and makes me more productive. Try it: every two minutes is ADD food! Hope that helps you get up to speed on Entourage.
