
How do I forward messages in Gmail?I am really embarrassed and frustrated that I am SO dumb as to have to ask this question, but I CANNOT FIND WHERE TO FORWARD, NOTHING COMPLICATED, JUST FORWARD SOMETHING TO A FRIEND WHEN I WANT TO? I have looked and the only reference to forwarding in Gmail is in the settings which means it would be an "overall" forwarding request. I just want to do an occasional simple forwarding. Wow, that's quite a question with your ALL CAPS COMMENT. Kinda like shouting, but then again, sounds like you're pretty frustrated so it's quite possible that it accurately reflects how upset you are about the situation! The good news? It's surprisingly easy to forward email in Google Gmail if you're willing to forgive the less than ideal interface they've created. Let's look at the top of a typical message: ![]() See the "Reply" button? Click on the little downward triangle just adjacent to it: ![]() There's your answer. That's how you forward individual messages in Google's Gmail service. It's easy once you know where to look. Hope that helps you out!
