How can I change the typeface of my Google AdSense ads?I have been experimenting on adding Google AdSense advertisements to my site and am not thrilled with the typeface they've chosen for the ads. Is there any way I can change the typeface in the text ads? There is, actually, and it's not too tricky if you're already poking around, learning how to configure, customize and add AdSense ad blocks to your site. However, realize that you won't have a palette of hundreds of groovy typefaces but just a few options: Arial, Times, and Verdana. Hoping for something more exotic? Well, if it's a graphical ad then the advertiser might already be using these other typefaces, but otherwise, you're outta luck. Let me show you how to change the typeface based on the few choices we have now, and perhaps by the time you read this blog entry, you'll find that there are indeed more options. Log in to your AdSense account and move to "AdSense Setup", "Manage Ads". Here, I'm already looking at an ad unit for my real life debt site: ![]() You need to scroll down, because below Name, Format and Colors is: ![]() Choose the font you'd prefer rather than the default and choose "Save Settings" on the bottom and, if you are using managed ad units, you're done. If not, if you're actually using specific code on your page, you'll need to go to "Get Ads > AdSense for Content" and specify the font you want. Hope that helps you out, and good luck with AdSense. If you're just getting started, I also invite you to read my How to get started with Google AdSense.
