Can u help me get into myspace because my school blocks it is there any way to get in, and if yes can u tell me how to me how and what i got to do to get in.

This is an awkward sort of question to receive, because there are some ways that you can redirect Web queries and otherwise mask what site you're visiting, something that I have no problem with if you're an adult and responsible for your own actions. For example, if I lived in China or the Middle East, I wouldn't want some government agency making the decision of what sites I could or couldn't visit, and would be pleased to know how to circumvent their filters and visit what I wanted to visit.
But you're in school, and I'm also guessing that you're in grades 6-12, not college, from your writing style and query, which means that you aren't legally autonomous and aren't really responsible for your own actions. Further, while I might sound a bit like an overly conservative stick in the mud, as a parent myself I am always concerned about filtering and protecting my own children from the dark side, the bad folk on the Internet.
The motivation behind your school blocking MySpace is doubtless the same, combined with a desire to ensure students stay focused on schoolwork when they're in school, using school resources, not messing around with social networking sites. It shouldn't be news to you that there are some bad people on MySpace and a little bit of help managing your interaction might well be of value, however tedious it may seem to you.
So my gut reaction is to say "no, you can't get around it. Rules are rules and if you want to get to MySpace from school, you need to be able to get permission with some sort of smart, logical argument to the administration." Indeed, I've written about how to block MySpace: How do I keep my kids off MySpace?
But perhaps I'm being a bit uptight about this particular issue, so I have also asked my friend Bennett Haselton, who runs the interesting Peacefire site, for his thoughts on this subject.
Bennett responds:
Peacefire.org lists four different methods on our front page for accessing blocked Web sites including MySpace.com, so at least one of those methods should solve your problem.
But I can't stop there, without responding to what Dave wrote. I volunteer with many smart and intelligent teenagers, and I'd like to think that I used to be one. When I first joined online discussions as a teenager, most people assumed I was an adult, and many teens online have had the same experience. If teenagers are so silly and immature, how come most people can't tell the difference when they can't look at the person and see how old they are?
The main reason teenagers aren't "autonomous" is not because they're lazy and dumb, it's because they're forced to work all day for free. If Dave had to spend all day writing papers and cramming for American History tests, he'd probably have to live with his Mom just like you.
Even if you think it's important for citizens to know their American history (and I do), there's no logical reason for forcing minors to learn it, but not adults. (If anything, there's a stronger argument for making adults learn it, since they're the ones who need to put current events in a historical context and cast an informed vote. I don't think either age group should be *forced* to learn history, but if you're going to require it of anybody, logically it should be the adults!) As it is, it's just more work that teenagers have to do for free, and one more artificial roadblock to their becoming independent.
In fact, for most of human history, teenagers were considered to be far closer to adults than to children. (Jewish kids don't have their bar mitzvahs at 18, after all.) What happened in recent centuries was that as jobs got more complicated, it became necessary to stay in school longer before you could go out and work. (Some of the things you learn in school do matter, after all.) However, just because you have to stay in school longer, that doesn't mean the *natural age of human maturity* has gone up. But we raised the effective age of adulthood anyway, and that's how we ended up with lunatic rules like the notion that you're not "mentally competent" to get a library card without parental permission when you're 17.
So, sorry to use your plight as a springboard for my political rant, but I hope you got your answer in the first paragraph. You're welcome.

Okay, so the schools have blocked every single way to get into myspace. I know, I know, it sucks but the district pays people to find out ways to get onto myspace and then they block it. Heres the thing. You can still get onto email sites such as AOL, YAHOO, HOTMAIL, VERIZON, and many others. So just create an account with any of those and tell your friends to do so aswell. Then you can talk to them easily. I have just stopped trying with myspace and I just go on at my house. You wont die without myspace for like 5 hours a day. As to those of you that are still trying to get onto myspace an wont ever stop...GOOD LUCK =]]

My high school, suddenly and unexpectedly, blocked all the ways to get on to myspace at school, including practically every proxy server known to man. I would really like to understand why they are blocking myspace. I can understand public chatrooms and other ways where perverted old men can talk to younger girls, but myspace? Honestly, it's completely harmless. You can even have friends only view of profile, you can edit what comments you want to be posted on your page, and it requirer login. It is the student's responsibility to NOT post any information about themselves that could result in an unwanted stalker. The school should be teaching about internet safety, instead of just blocking it all at school. When students go home and get on their computers, myspace isn't blocked then. Therefore they are not protecting any one. They should teach internet safety at the school, not just hide us from what happens anyway. They are not stopping anyone. They are just making our lives more complicated. But guess what school administrators, you can't stop us from doing what we really want. What you should be doing, is informing us about why it's wrong.
Internet safety, not blocking websites, is the right solution.

You can access myspace from school via online web proxy server, hide your IP address and bypass firewall restrictions:

my school has blocked all websites except unfilterme.com. The only problem with that webiste is that it wont let you comment anybody and it wont let you see your friends page. But it does let you check and write messeges. I see if I can find anymore.

I see so many requests here to access myspace from school. And some justifications also. However, I dont think it is a very cool idea. I know how you feel, my office blocks a lot of sites and it is frustrating. But one reason that I think is justified to block myspace and other internet sites is that it is an attempt to make you lesser dependant on the internet to keep in touch with people.
Blogging, chatting, myspacing and orkutting etc have made people social morons, with them finding it easier to chat up to someone or comment online rather than talk to someone who sits in their vicinity (probably their classroom). I would love to go back to my school with no access to these websites. When you grow up your social circle with reduce automatically. You are just adding to the problem by being so addicted to the internet already.
The school is right. Being in school, I complained about a hundred things...including exams..but hey...in the end..they knew what they were doing. If they could they would probably restrict you at home too (not advisable) but that might lead to legal complications I guess.
Try restricting your dependancy on the internet, and be more aware of people around you. School is an awesome place, and you will miss it once you are out. Trust me.

Hey, everyone. I'm a junior in high school, and I've read all of these comments. I, too, wish to access Myspace from my school, if only to alleviate boredom during my Web Page Design class. However, I understand the school's side of things. They are responsible for our safety, and as much as we argue, the fact is that Myspace is no less dangerous than other sites like it. It may have safety features, but there are still creepy people on this site. Not only are sites like these read by the people who want to get on Myspace, they are read by the very administrators who block the sites from the computers in the first place. Myspace may be lots of fun, but your life will go on if you don't figure out how to access it at school. It isn't a matter of urgency that you can't access this site, trust me. So please, everyone, hack away, I mean, that's part of the fun, right? But keep your perspective, please. School is school, and it can't be too fun, right?

As an employee for a K-12 school there are a few simple facts that students forget most of the time...
The school is responsible for your safety both on and off line, and as much as you think myspace is harmless there are many cases of it being used as a new form of bullying among all the creeps that lurk on those sites.
Second, as students you don't have any "rights" to access anything on school owned resources - our policy is rather simple in the fact that if it can't be used for school then you don't need to be on it at school
Finally, what is the huge deal about not being able to get on myspace or facebook or any site like that for the 7 or so hours a day you are at school? If you truly can't go that long with being jacked into myspace or something similar you probably should be looking for something else to do anyway

at my school myspace is blocked too but students can get onto the webpage by using firefox another enternet browser loaded onto every computer in the school. it takes about fifteen minutes for firefox to open itself but from there myspace is just a click away.

Sup, the only way i can find right now well true-wiseguys.com worked till yesterday so might be up for yall but.. go to aol.com go to downloads and download it... install it.. delete it off the desktop... put the icon somewhere hard to find that u can remeber,, you have to have a aol account or make a new one up with trials... and log in u can go to anything.. but i would still go thru a proxy site neone will work at this point, or i guess you could just delete all cookies and historys after, just incase a teracher finds it on your computer they dont know u where on myspace... hope that helped

I recently set up a site which is a web based proxy, because this was becoming a problem for me. The URL is http://unfilter.net and it's helped me get past the work filters, which is better than I expected. I just hope it doesn't get blocked.

See, the reason none of these sights work is because everything you do is saved onto the history of your computer. The only way to ensure that the proxy website you're using can't be blocked is to go into the history and delete you ever being there. go to the back button and click the little arrow pointing down. click history. click today. then they'll never know you were there. or you can just live without myspace for a day, and just get on when you get home. 7 hours is not that bad.

Well, just for starters, there aint no way possible that the system can block each an every server that we (us students) use!! There is millions upon millions of proxies and all sorts of different ways to get around it. All I can say is that if you know a good proxy, don't give it out to ur "friends"! Cuz that don't help worth ummm yea... SHEET! So pretty much just keep tryin, and if you come across one that aint blocked then shut ur mouth an keep it on the dl.

I think that by not telling her how to unblock myspace from school was pretty stupid. Our school blocks myspace too, and if someone has a question about how to get on at school, you should tell them because this is one of the most searched questions and if you dont give them an an answer, you really arn't helping. I know you wrote that we are not "responsible enough" but you are very wrong, please note that alot of things have changed since you were last our age. There really is no purpose for you to even try and answer by saying we arnt responsible enough if you really arnt gonna help at all, because no one is gonna listen to you. We'll just try and find a BETTER site that will acually HELP.

Myspace is a very big worldwide addiction. Everyday i do look for sites to log on to myspace but they are practically all blocked. kproxy is banned in my school, but now there are private servers that works!. You have to send a SMS and u have access for a week.

I have been struggling to find a way to view restricted sites at work for the last few months. At first proxies were great, but they would always wind up getting blocked. My main source of guilty pleasure at work is youtube. . . however it is blocked! I found a nifty way to get around the content filtering. My work allows google search for you tube videos, I find one I like and then I go to this site that lets you download and save videos from myspace, youtube, and a few others. Its not as great as going to youtube, but hey at least I get to keep the videos

Not to throw a monkey wrench into the works, but I *do* advise that you be a bit careful which of these unknown proxy servers you decide to use when you log in to MySpace. I haven't heard of a phishing proxy server, but it wouldn't be hard to create one that looked like it was offering up a real MySpace login page, but was actually stealing your account information for nefarious use. I can't check everything here, so, again, please be judicious in your use of proxy servers, especially those that are clearly operated overseas (like ".cn" domains)

I wouldn't really worry about trying to get through proxys at school. Why sit here and try to bust around a proxy and then just get hit by another one in the process? I mean, if you want on MySpace, AIM, MSN, YAHOO, or any other site that is blocked, wait till you get home. You are in school to learn, not screw around on programs as where the admininstrator/principal can what sites you've been on. There are ways you can still be seen even if you're "ghost" or "annonoymous" You have to think about it.

Personally, I think the kid's question was a fair one, being in high school myself, it is infuriating to have almost every other page shove a block notification into your face. But aside from that, the thing I really wanted to point out is the majority of questions like this that are typed poorly, punctured with bad grammar and lack of capitalization, etc. It just seems so rude. If everyone needs proxies so bad, why not simply set up your own? And once you have it set up, don't go and post it on a website like this one. There are probably kids getting around their school firewalls all the time, but do you know how they keep their proxies working? They don't tell anyone. Administrators can simply follow these forums and block every proxy that might have worked simply because people are posting them. There is also a chance that your school simply pays a substancially high fee to use a product that is constantly updated by professionals to keep web pages blocked. If this is the case then you will have a hard time getting around these services, because if the school is forking over say four grand a year, then they expect the services to work, and work well. It is possible to get around them, however. I would recommend using Apache server on Linux. Simply set up your computer at home to be a proxy. Then, when you get to school, type your IP address into the url bar, enter your password, and Viola! It shouldn't be blocked since nobody knows about it, and then just be smart and don't tell anybody. I hope this helps. ;)

Most of the proxies on this website probably don`t work because administrators aren`t as stupid as you think they are. They check these kinds of websites. For example, at my school, the computer administrator is able to monitor excatly what you are doing. Everytime someone logs on, he can go to their screen & even control the mouse and whatnot.

Yea, I have a myspace. Yes, I want to get on at school, especially when we aren`t doing anything, but it`s pointless when people tell me I`m going to be stalked or raped or blah blah blah. listen ppls.... im only a freahman but i know a little bit about the stupid whole proxy firewall bull. i do know a wonderful little website called surfinshade.com, but the connection on the schools computer cuts everytime i go to any website. what you really need to do for any firewall problems at school or work or anywere is this:
1. buy a jump drive with at least 1gb
2.look up download circumventor on any search site on a computer without firewalls(most likely your home comp)
3. download the circumventor to your jump drive(pereferable if the circumventor is a no trace one so you dont get caught by the board and what not)
4. take the jumpdrive to school and put it into the computer.
5.upload the circumventor program
6.use the web!!

I have realized that school systems pretty much block all proxy websites, but there are ways to insert proxies into your computer yourself. I personally don't know any proxy numbers off the top of my head, but I am positive that you could find some on a search engine such as google or yahoo.

Just try entering a foreign myspace site.
FOR INSTANCE- myspace.cn is the chinese myspace site. they use the beta version of myspace, but the only problem is, most of it is in chinese.
all you really need to do is be familiar with where certain buttons on the website are, and you can login, send messages, add friends, whatever!
note: since the website is chinese, it is managed under chinese law, which differs slightly from american law. they tell you this before you are successfully logged in, but the message is in chinese. there is only one button to press, so just press it. what you are doing by pressing the button is agreeing that since you are on a chinese website, you and your actions are subject to their laws.

As much as I know we all want to use a proxy and make a proxy so we can access our myspaces, facebooks, and other blog-like sites schools are always going to block them once they discover them.
I work as a web master at my school and county level so I know. Just as a warning. As much as you wanna hide it you can be tracked when looking at blocked sites. Most schools and counties don't take using proxy sites seriously. They just block them. However if your admins are interested enough you can be traced and you can be seriously punished.
It's nothing to terribly serious but a word of advice from one programmer to another you can always be tracked if somebody is interested enough. Schhol systems have many securities that you don't know about. Like key stroke monitors. Most teachers can see what is on your screen. Also clearing your history means squat.
Don't get on myspace at school. Anything can be tracked whether you use proxy's or not. Do you want the school board looking at your personal myspaces?
If you want to talk to your friends use an email service. Gmail is what I use.
My school blocked AOL so I had to create a Gmail. It works if you have a business class and want to talk to your friends.

The best and most efficient way to do this is when you are home go to accessories then command prompt, Type (exactly) ping www.myspace.com
then press enter, it will come up with a bunch of random stuff, all you need to find is the ip address which is like 219. something like that. it works, i tried with youtube, the pics dont show up for the vids but once you click the vids they work fine, and you can do this for anysite, just change the address.
and i forgot the most important part, put the ip address that you found with command prompt and enter it into your browser(since you cant copy and paste from command prompt), exactly number for number dot for dot, and it should be perfectly good to go!!
Want to know why we block sites....go thru and read the comments...talk about a lack of education, misspellings and grammar will give you a clue to what you should really be trying to do in school....instead of trying ways to get around firewalls.....:-)

You guys should appreciate that people are even trying to provide with some proxys. Yeah they might all be blocked but that doesn't mean they're broken, it means they're blocked. There is plenty of proxy sites to look through untill you find one that isn't blocked. I recommend you get on www.proxy.org during some free time at home and copy down a bunch of the newest proxys, or make your own. But don't cuss at the people trying to help you.

Wow... You guys may aswell face it! There is no way you're going to get onto these blocked sites!! You can try everything you like, it wont be accessible to you while you're at school. All you need to do is make your own proxy website and dont tell anyone about it. That way your proxy website can last longer or you can signup to any proxy newsletter to receive daily proxy list. Nowadays none seem to bypass the ever strong filters{ websense, K9 , bess},
some things one should observe when looking for a proxy site:
-Shouldn't be a .info { filters by default block them coz most are proxy sites}
-Shouldnt contain the words proxy or others like myspace,orkut,bebo in it. { they keyword filter those}
-On the safe side should be a SSL encrypted ones {https sites filter find them difficult to scan}
-Should be a reputable provider and provide fresh domains update {So that proxy owners dont steal our information,
face the fact domains will get blocked eventually, so its necessary to provide new ones.}
-I would recommend CGI proxy , even if they are time consuming they give the desired results.
Currently i use https://makemoneyonline.org.in from pagemod.com proxies.They have both CGI and PHP proxies in them.

All free proxies are blocked very fast. I was tired of search new free proxies and then I tried a no free one. And IT ROCKS! If you can waste $10 per month and it worths for you, you should try it. I use kproxy.

Sometimes for some sites, using HTTPS instead of HTTP works because only the HTTP link is blocked not the HTTPS.
For example in my office k9 is used to block sites, so some of the sites like mail can be open this way.

I'm not sure how to get on myspace. But I know how to get on facebook at school.. Type in https://facebook.com I'm not sure if the "https" thing works for myspace.. I've never tried it.. I don't see why it wouldn't.. Hope I helped..?

i hate when the skool's block thingss whyy is that they probaly be on bad things just like us so they need to just let us be because some day were going to find out a site to go on things and they aren't go to find out about it
The majority of proxy servers get blocked via filtering security software. You can try using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Proxy. See if this works. Proxies that support SSL are much harder to block. So when you search for proxies make sure it uses SSL. I don't guarantee this it all depends on system security.

Many websites block IPs coming from free proxies. Best bet is to use a credible anonymizer such as http://www.anonymizer.com to access websites that are blocked.
