Resign from Words with Friends game?

I've been playing Words with Friends and am just starting a game with someone who I just realized is a gal I don't want to play games with. We have kind of a history. She's sly, though, not having a real name associated with her Words with Friends account, so it was only a mutual friend who told me. Now I want to resign the game. How do I do that on my iPhone?

Dungeoneering and Pursuing Quests in RuneScape

Have you ever wondered what you should do on RuneScape after you get out of Explorer Jack's Cellar with Sir Vant and Roddeck? Well when I started playing RuneScape in April I was wondering the same thing.

Today I am going to talk about some fun things to do on RuneScape.

Before you start doing those things is to train yourself up a little in combat (in case you have to fight some aggressive monsters). You can train right where you come out: In the village of Lumbridge. There are goblins and giant spiders close to Explorer Jack's house.

Even before you start fighting them you should get a weapon. Go to the Lumbridge general store and get the free bronze dagger. Then you can start training...

Review: Popcap's "Chuzzle" iPhone game

I've written a lot about iPhones, and traveled down many different routes in terms of how to use them efficiently, how to have fun, and how to solve a wide variety of problems or glitches. If you've watched closely, you'll have also see in the screenshots that I have a lot of iPhone apps on my phone, in fact I think I've maxed out the number of screens I can create on the 3GS device.

Most of those apps? Games. I have a lot of games for my iPhone and while many of them are intended to keep my kids entertained (their favorites currently are Surviving High School, Cooking Mama, Oregon Trail, Sally's Spa and Pocket God) there are definitely some that I have added for my own enjoyment.

iphone popcap peggle
Peggle has you shooting a ball to bounce off, and thereby eliminate, red pegs on screen

Enter iPhone and computer game developer Popcap. I started out downloading Peggle and then finishing the game -- three times through! -- and asking them to release a new version so I could continue to play. Instead, they told me that they'd released a new game and wanted me to try it: Chuzzle.

Killzone 2 Walkthru Part II: Blood Meridian

[This is the second of a series of Killzone 2 walkthrus we'll be publishing, all with videos and all written by gamer Alex Juel. If you have questions about the game, please don't hesitate to post them here and Alex will do his best to answer them. If you haven't already read it, start with Killzone 2 Walk-Thru: Corinth River, and stay tuned for subsequent parts, too!]

Here's a summary of the game's storyline (courtesy of Wikipedia): Killzone 2 is set on the planet Helghan, the home-world of the Helghast who invaded an Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA) colony. Two years after the Helghast assault on Vekta, the ISA has launched an assault on the enemy's homeworld. The ISA goal is to capture the Helghast leader, Scolar Visari, and bring the Helghast war machine to a halt.

In the game you assume the role of Sergeant Tomas "Sev" Sevchenko, a battle-hardened veteran of the special forces unit Alpha Team, who are on a mission to eliminate the Helghast threat. During the invasion, Sev's unit is deployed behind enemy lines to assist the main invasion force. Responsible for securing the enemy capital of Pyrrhus, the team quickly discovers that the Helghast are a formidable enemy. Not only have they adjusted to Helghan's hostile conditions, they have also harnessed the power of the frequent lightning storms.

A cold, barren, unforgiving world, Helghan provides a ready defense with thick, acidic air, dust clouds, and violent lightning storms. Sev discovers his squad is not just fighting enemy forces - their fiercest opponent may be the planet itself.

Now, ready to get started? Great!

killzone 2 ps3 cover artHere's the game's storyline (courtesy of Wikipedia), if you want to start out with a basic clue about what's going on: Killzone 2 is set entirely on the planet Helghan, the home-world of the Helghast who invaded an Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA) colony. Two years after the Helghast assault on Vekta, the ISA has launched an assault on the enemy's homeworld of Helghan.

During the invasion of Helghan, Sev's unit is deployed behind enemy lines to assist the main invasion force. Responsible for securing the enemy capital of Pyrrhus, Helghan's first true city, the team quickly discovers that the Helghast are a more formidable enemy on their home planet than they were off-planet. Not only have they adjusted to Helghan's hostile conditions, they have also harnessed the power of the freakish lightning storms and can use against the ISA.

A cold, barren, unforgiving world, Helghan provides a ready defense with thick, acidic air, dust clouds, and violent surgical lightning storms. Sev discovers his squad is not just fighting enemy forces - their fiercest opponent may be the planet itself.

Now, ready to get started? Great!

How to create a winning character in EVE Online

EVE Online is an involved science fiction MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game). As such, even something as simple as creating your character can take a ton of thought and strategy. Even if you already have a character created, you may want to rethink your choices... the character customization process is much more complex than it seems, and if you don't take into account certain points you may deviate or steer the entirely opposite direction from your ideal in-game persona.

Call of Duty 4: Winning Team Deathmatch Tactics

Team Deathmatch is one of the more populated modes on Call of Duty 4 multi-player and also the first mode available to play. The object of this mode is relatively simple, to stay alive and kill enough players on the opposing side to attain the 750 point goal.

It's that staying alive part that can be tricky, though, so if you are one of those players finding that most of their session is spent watching the 'Kill Cam' maybe its time for you to change your tactics...

Radiata Stories: How do I get the picture for Flora?

Radiata Stories Tips and HelpHi, I'm in a bit of a jam and I don't know who to ask. I saw that you answered a question regarding the Sony Playstation 2 (PS2) game 'Radiata Stories'. I was wondering if you could come up with a solution to a problem. part of the game asks that you help this girl, Flora, to find a lost picture of her father. I've seen FAQs that say I should see this other woman, Synelia, but she doesn't give it to me no matter how much I talk to her. I know its not the most important question, but it would be a big help to me. Thank you for your time.

Pokemon and Nintendo Gameboy Advance: Can't Save, Dry Battery?

Hi Dave, I have pokemon gold on gameboy color. I've had it for about 2 years now and recently it's been playing up. When i save the game it runs through the usual procedure of saving and says "save successful" BUT when I turn it on again the next time it doesn't have the "continue" option. only "new game" it's REALLY ANNOYING!

Also [I hope u dont mind me asking this too] but i have pokemon sapphire on gameboy advance and when it loads it says "internal battery has run dry, time based events will no-longer occur" which is also VERY annoying and I cannot complete the game because some pokemon only appear at night and it stays as permanent day time.
