Can I change the return address of my MSN Hotmail mail?

MY ADDRESS IS NOT VERIFED AND PEOPLE CAN NOT E-MAIL ME AND IT IS ANOYING

Dave- I have tried to find out from MSN and have not been able so let's see if you know the answer. After getting cable service at work and home I did not want to change my email address since it was on my business publications. I asked if I could pay less just to keep the address. I was never able to get an answer that sounded like 'yes.' now the card i was paying with has been canceled but so far i can still get to the address since it is part of hotmail- or because they are giving me a grace period. do you know if i might get away with keeping the msn email address if msn is no longer my IP provider? I only ask because of the whole free hotmail situation. i know this is a customer service question but i can only live chat with them and they paste pages of information that hasn't really answered my question. i haven't tried in a while.

Chris, if your address is something@hotmail.com then last I checked as long as you popped in and checked your email every month or two the account would stay alive forever.

I have a similar question to Chris- I have had my msn email account for some time and have it on all my business documents. I decided to move from Verizon DSL to Comcast Cable because of the lack of adequate coverage to my home location. Verizon said that I can keep my msn account for 60 days. How can I keep it longer than that. I currently click on hotmail to access my msn account. Can I continue to do that? Is there a charge?

My hotmail account was reset - all my emails were wiped out.Hotmail claims I havent logged in and checked emails for 30 days. So they have been wiped out.But I am sure I checked within the 30 day time frame.

How can I contact someone who can restore back my emails?

I contacted a customer service rep via their online form - but received a canned lengthy reply. Basically they said "no we cannot restore your emails"

I am SURE they must be on SOME server - backup server, quarantine server, something!!!

Hello, Dave. I have a very weird problem I need your help with please. For the past 4 or more days, I have not been able to access my msn mail on my laptop, which is a 3 year old IBM thinkpad. Now, I have NEVER had this problem in the past, not with this computer, and I don't think it is an issue with my laptop, cuz if it is, I have NO clue what it is. For easy access, I have my mail page saved in my favorites, and I just click and boom I am logged in most of the time. But for some reason, every time I click my link, or just go to msn.com and click hotmail, I cannot get my mail to work. This weird page comes up, I click the one or two links on it that look like they are for mail, and nothing happens, the page for mail does not load, etc. It is really making me angry. I have been able to access msn mail on other computers but not this one. Internet Explorer might have caused the problem but I checked it and that is not working either. PLEASE help me Dave...I have enough stress in my life without having to worry about this evil laptop breaking down on me. Thanks so much. :)

I have a new e-machine, had several problems, had to re-instal msn 3 times, some how, I started getting mail on my 2nd account that is supposed to be on jimstrode@msn.com. I have tried several times to get MSN to fix the problem, what if I removed Militia patriot. would my mail be directed to jimstrode. I have been a customer for 7 years, I am about ready to cancel my account over this. I am very discusted with MSN employs, for 1 thing I can not under stand them, they talk so fast and have a language slang that is impossable for a hill billy to understand.

I have same problem like ( Jennifer and Robert ) said , When i contact msn support they said we will send u rest pass link to e mail ( that u use it to ask him for support )wtever if no alternate email registered ,
They will ask u many Q. about details , Folders , Last e mails and Contacts e mail .
So i do wt they ask and they send me the link to rest my pass. But same error msg.( You have entered username or password to many times incorrectly and it has locked me out of my account ) , So i find that the problem must be one of these :
1- Cookies problem in your ( Laptop/PC )
2- Problem from same MSN sites .
3- New virus or worm .

* Cookies :
Cuz last time u get locked , The cookie save it so when u try again after ((((1 week)))) u must before Login : ( Use New PCs not the same 1 u always use )

1 - ( Use New PC 1 ) to Ask msn support for link to reset your password.

2 - ( Use New PC 2 )to reset password ( Link stay 3 days active .

3 - New password ( save it away and not on PC ).
4 - ( Use New PC 3 ) Try to login .

If u get same problem that ( u use wrong e mail or password ) that mean the problem not in your PC , It's from msn site for sure .

I have a problem with one of my client's MSN Hotmail. Since I'm not a hotmail fan, I thought It would be better to leave it for a pro like you. My client's problem is that, when she wants to send an email in MSN Hotmail, she wants to see all the relavent as she types in the TO Address box (as an example when she types the letter "A" she wants to see all the addresses pop, those begins with the letter "A" and so on). is there any way I can configure this option? (worst thing is she is Portuguese and uses the Portuguese version and it's Greek to me.

I can't get into my hotmail. I don't remember my secret question or other address. It keeps saying someone has been trying to many times with the wrong password. I always went through my outlook to log on, but it kept asking for my password and saying that was wrong. I can't find a number to MSN and you can't e-mail me back. You do seem informed.

Here's a problem you may or may not be familiar with, but which I'm quite sure constitutes a major flaw (unless I'm missing something):

I set up my Hotmail account years ago, in London. I'm now living in SE Asia and, while I can use my email account perfectly well, Windows Messenger seems to presume that I'd prefer to interface in the regional language.

Particularly, when attempting to edit my Hotmail account details I am taken to a settings page in Chinese (which I cannot read). No matter how I try, I cannot find a way to select English.

I will start by logging in to my account, select "Options" and then "View and edit your personal information" which takes me to the Chinese language page.

The first problem, with Windows Messenger (or Windows Live, to be specific) can be remedied, but there seems no way on earth to alter one's account information in a language other than that of the local region. Is this an oversight by Hotmail?

Any advice or insight you may have would be greatly appreciated.
