Can you please tell me how can I label my Gmail messages coz I'm not getting the New Label option from the drop down box?

I've been using Google's Gmail program for quite a while and recently went to invite a friend to get a Gmail account. Much to my surprise, the Gmail invitation box has changed! Is it only me, or do you see it too? What do you think it means?

Dave, on my gmail account on my page there are no words which say export contacts and i have seen a picture on google of where abouts it is supposed to be on the page but it simply isnt there. i no u can also export doing excel and stuff but that is so much easier and its quite fustrating. thanks

I'm a big fan of Google's Gmail service, but I really wish there was a way for me to organize groups of people together into a mailing list or group, so I could type, say, "family" and have it go to my Mom, sister, brother, and so on.
